Business Partner Procurement - Roodepoort at FLSmidth

Your responsibilities: 

• Translating P&L owner’s growth strategy into procurement/supply chain strategy
• Full Supply chain and procurement responsibility for your products
• Separation and dewatering
• Flotation, e.g. rotors and stators
• Filtration, e.g. filter manufacturing and filter cloth
• Gold Concentrators, e.g. concentrator baskets
• Other parts as agreed.
• In- and outsource analysis, strategy, and decision.
• Lead time and SIFOT (Supplier in Full On-Time) improvement.
• Total cost optimization
• Optimization of ordering process
• Analyze KPIs and do corrective actions.
• Contribute to efficient SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process and take demand planning to supply planning.
• NPI planning
• Projects or other products as agreed with your manager.

Your Qualifications: 

• Relevant BSc or MSc degree or deep practical experience.
• Strong communication skills in English both orally and writing
• You thrive to work in a technically and organizationally complex business environment.
• You have insights into analyzing own manufacturing data and like working with data.
• You have knowledge about Polyurethane (PU) products and manufacturing.
• You can work independently and are not afraid to challenge the “as is” way of working.
• You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset and are ready to challenge the status quo.
