Provide strategic leadership and direction on the development and implementation of an integrated Corporate Services Cluster strategy.
Align functional practices with the organisation’s strategy, annual plans, statutory, including but not limited to the PFMA, South African labour legislation and regulations.
Advise the RIM Council, Regulatory Committees, Executives and Management teams, on new legislative developments
Ensure development and continuous improvement of processes, policies and compliance frameworks for functions in the Corporate Services Cluster.
Provide enabling mechanisms for a seamless end-to-end value chain management to sustain functional effectiveness, including legal and financial risk management.
Develop strategies for the implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the performance management system
Oversee and facilitate Human Capital strategy, organisational effectiveness and wellness initiatives for the organisation.
Champion Employee Relations strategies, ensuring sound labour relations and legislation compliance in a unionised environment
Oversee and provide guidance on Employee Benefits, Pension Fund and Retirement Benefits Administration
Oversee the application of principles of good governance and legislative compliance for effective and efficient Legal services
Provide strategic leadership for RIM’s marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Lead the effective brand management strategies for the entity through innovative product research, development, branding and marketing.
Lead and direct the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy to sustain RIM’s positive public reputation
Develop functional risk management framework and ensure that controls are implemented at all levels of the organisation
Oversee budgeting and reporting processes of functions within corporate Services
Ensure that cluster performance metrics and targets are met and reported on
Provide mentoring and support to team members and managers
Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree in human resources/ social sciences/ law/ business administration (NQF 9) or a related discipline ·
Business Management qualification will be an added advantage
Work Experience:
A minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant experience of which at least seven (7) years must be at senior management level in corporate services environment
Must have Experience in operating effectively within highly unionised environments
