    Employee Marketing Manager (One&Only Cape Town)

    Key Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Development and design of HR communication material, including posters, employee handbooks, training material, notice board templates, digital notice boards screens, manuals, forms etc. 
    • Build and foster collaborative relationships with other departments within the property to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives, products and services 
    • Continuously act as the communication enabler ensuring that colleagues have all the information they require   
    • Manage all internal and external communication mediums including notice boards, #opencoversations, plasma screen payslip attachments, newsletters, general comms on Whatsapp to all colleagues and Leadership.   
    • Identify opportunities to support organizational initiatives and develop communication materials and programmes to promote and publicise these activities 
    • Manage the company’s intranet, notice boards, digital and or other marketing platforms 
    • Layout and preparation of the company newsletter 
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with Colleagues which may include email, newsletter, HR Portal, Intranet Site and video content 
    • Prepares and release internal announcements for the company 
    • Facilitate the annual colleague engagement survey, deliver and present results, and support understanding/ action planning process 
    • Facilitate, participation and manage accurate data analytics pertaining to CES data report submission to Global.   
    • Coordinate and cooperate with PR and Marketing to ensure consistency between internal and external marketing 
    • Manage all communication forums and events including such as town halls, long service awards, wellness events and outreach programs, Tea parties, Monthly colleague Joy/Fun days, Bereavement process and memorial services, Reward and recognition awards, Joy moments, Wellness days (Work life balance events) and Year-end gifting. 
    • Enhance and improve engagement through the various platforms 
    • Development and creation of internal presentations (PowerPoint, video etc.) 
    • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate the procurement of collateral (print, gifts, etc.) 
    • Roll out of Kerzner global communication material 
    • Development of recruitment material (leaflets, interactive PDFs, etc.) 
    • Design and update of digital communication material (recruitment banners etc.) 
    • Work closely with HR team and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and execution of initiatives  
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives across the resort 
    • Formulate a wellness strategy, calendar and policies to manage and promote colleagues overall wellness  
    • Manage reward and recognition platform 
    • Track engagement plans within the various departments and results are communicated, analyzed and action plans are developed and reviewed regularly.  
    • Assisting with presentations, scripts and design requirements 
    • Project management – Ensure start to end BOH/ Employee Engagement projects including capex management (Procurement and Financial procedure adherence) 
    • Develop and report monthly metrics to assess the success of the HR strategy/HR/Resort scorecard  
    • Stakeholder relationship management i.e. clinic/ medical practitioner and all counsellors  

    Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements  

    Must have: 

    • Internal communication and communication on behalf of HR 
    • Employee recognition, engagement and activities 
    • HR Collateral development 
    • Degree in HR, Hospitality or Marketing/PR 
    • Desirable/ Beneficial 
    • Basic design experience and knowledge of related software (Photoshop, INDesign, Illustrator) 
    • Marketing/ PR experience
