    External Moderator Tourism

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A relevant three-year teaching qualification (REQV 13) with 3 years lecturing experience and 2 years’ experience as a moderator in the following subjects: Travel Services, Tourism Office Procedure, Tourist Destination and Hotel Reception. Must be qualified as an assessor and moderator. Registration with SACE.

    DUTIES AS THE MODERATOR:

    Moderate ICASS tasks as per required sample number by DHET for the following subjects:

    • Travel Services, Tourism Office Procedure, Tourist Destination and Hotel Reception.
    • Record the marks in the DHET moderation report template.
    • Compile report on the findings and give feedback to the respective subject lecturers.
