Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Specialist ( Temp) at PPS

Purpose of the Job: 

To support the Group Marketing department by developing marketing material using creative and graphic design experience. To implement marketing strategies and organisational objectives in alignment with PPS’s vision of becoming a brand leader in the graduate professional segment. 

Main duties and responsibilities:  

Marketing co-ordination and support

• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members on various projects throughout the calendar
• Support required within the marketing team and other departments for adhoc projects
• Live streaming of events
• Photography & Videography as required
• Internal Communications support, contribution, compilation, design and distribution

PPS Website and Digital Marketing

• Content management and enhancements on the PPS Group public website (pps.co.za)
• Updating and maintaining website content accurately and within deadline
• Newsletters
• Other digital marketing requirements

PPS Intranet

• Content management of PPS intranet
• Maintenance of intranet in collaboration to IT department and external service provider
• Uploading documents and providing links for stakeholders
• Updating of company letterheads and templates

Graphic design

• Graphic design support to the business
• Design of internal and external marketing communications collateral incl:
• Brochures
• Advertisements
• Forms
• Calendars
• Emailers
• Branded material
• Newsletters
• Etc.
• Managing design requests from the business and providing timelines
• Adhering to timelines

Brand Management

• To maintain a consistent brand image for PPS in all forms of marketing material, signage, digital platforms etc.
• Assist with rolling out and enforcing the PPS Group CI Guide across PPS subsidiaries to ensure all subsidiary CI material is aligned
• CI approval

Formal Qualifications and Experience

• National Diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in Marketing / Digital Marketing/ Marketing Management or related field
• 3 years’ experience in a marketing and communications environment
• A good command of the English language
• Certificate and experience in Adobe Design suite
• Graphic design experience for digital, social media and marketing communications
• Project management skills in multiple projects is advantageous
• Certificate or experience in CRM is advantageous
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
