B Tech or First Degree in management or in a related business administration field.
Up to 8 years’ relevant experience required at a senior level.
Relevant experience pertaining to Performance Management and Project Management environments.
Knowledge of local government municipal functions and
related legislation and policies.
Knowledge of the Corporate Governance Principles as well as Project Management Principles and practices.
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Valid Code B drivers licence.
Key Performance Areas
To manage and coordinate the planning, development and implementation of the Directorate's Policies, Business Plans, SDBIP's (including SAP Strategy Management Tool) and to collaborate with Individual Performance Management.
To guide and ensure compliance with corporate strategies, policies and procedures (like the Corporate Scorecard and Mayoral Dashboard)
Aligning and guiding the Directorate’s service delivery objectives through effective administrative support and programme management
Assist in advancing corporate wide knowledge management policies, programmes and departmental/ directorate knowledge hubs
IDP strategies are appropriately cascaded and integrated into Directorate and Departmental SDBIPs
Ensure compliance with City strategy and policy applicable to the Information and Knowledge Management functions.
Ensure that the Directorate meets the requirements as contained in the City’s IRM Policy and related processes and procedures.
Ensure that projects and initiatives are effectively planned, managed and implemented.
