Hoisting Electrical Project Engineer at Six Senses

Job Description

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
• Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
• You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Hoisting
• Knowledge of electrical theory and systems in mine winders
• Knowledge of AC and DC drive systems
• Computer and programmable logic controller (PLC) literate
• Good design skills and problem-solving abilities
• Highly motivated and self-motivator.
• Strong leadership/interpersonal skills/conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
• Experience in the Mining Industry would be an asset
• Presentation and communication skills in English
• Good understanding of customer needs / good customer relations
• Strong ability to influence people, building trust and credibility
