Hotel General Manager - Rustenburg at Orion Hotels & Resorts

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales and marketing, and maintenance
• Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to improve financial results
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue and occupancy growth
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in regular meetings with senior management to report on performance and set goals for improvement

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• A tertiary qualification in hotel management or similar field preferred
• Must have driver's license and own reliable motor vehicle
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Demonstrated track record of achieving financial targets and delivering exceptional guest service
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational and strategic plans
• Knowledge of hotel management software and systems
