As a valued member of our human resources team, your role will be critical in supporting our business in South Africa and our employees reporting to our global functions. You will be responsible for providing support to a diverse population of approximately 1,000 employees and will be an integral part of our larger global HR team. Working closely with our Centers-of-Excellence, you will help ensure that all our employees across the globe receive the support they need to excel. Your contribution will be essential in helping us provide exceptional HR services to our organization.
Responsibilities
Partnering across our Centers-of-Excellence to create and implement HR programs to attract and develop our future talent
Creating an inclusive and diverse culture through promoting and growing employee education, awareness, and open conversations
Providing guidance to people leaders to help develop high-performing teams in a collaborative culture
Implementing, and adjusting an organizational design that can support a global, matrixed business that is continuously evolving and growing,
Collaborating with subject matter experts to continuously improve policies and procedures for hiring, terminations, promotions and reviews
Managing talent reviews, advising on strategies, compensation, and rewards programs to help us attract and retain talent
Requirements
Have an impressive background in HR with experience in operational leadership and the ability to execute strategic initiatives
You should have a proven track record of working in a global and complex environment, with experience collaborating with Centers of Excellence and a matrix organization. You should also have experience with project and change management programs.
Demonstrate successful experience as an HR manager providing guidance in talent management, engagement, recruiting and rewards
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey difficult messages with confidence
Can build and develop effective working and collaborative relationships
Demonstrate exceptional commercial knowledge and the ability to translate this into creating a high-performing work culture
Have great problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
Have excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt and flex to deliver multiple priorities
Be able to manage data using Microsoft Excel and have experience of HR data and systems
Covering the aspect of HR support to both these groups and that additional level of matrix complexity
