    Human Resources Manager - Cape Town HQ

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for:

    We’re looking for a HR Manager to join our team. Successful incumbent will be responsible for providing Generalist HR enabling support to the Technical Services, Agronomy & customer Collaboration Teams. There will also be a requirement for managing and executing various projects to standardise and strengthen HR practice across the Supply Chain organisation in addition to addressing Data Analysis, Insights and Reporting requirements.

    Accountabilities: 

    • Execute business HR Strategy implementation in function
    • Setting and monitoring team/department objectives (in line with point 1.1, HRMWB and site/operation key deliverables on the people agenda)
    • Manage and drive for improved employee relations
    • Support matters of discipline, disputes and reported grievances
    • Leads the assigned talent acquisition initiatives in collaboration with CoE team
    • Lead and support Data Quality Projects
    • Support Global, Sector and Regional Tool deployments and ad-hoc project work
    • Facilitates/leads organisational change/design initiatives -Translate business requirements to Corporate CoE’s who will develop corresponding programs and ensure partnership with CoE’s to socialize, implement and manage associated changes
    • Collaborates with Regional HR Ops colleagues to identify opportunities to leverage data analytics to support the different agendas, finding creative, yet actionable and pragmatic solutions
    • Ensures functional management team’s understanding of the Total Rewards philosophy, objectives and procedures
    • Coaches management on initiatives to drive performance and assists with Performance Review process
    • Ensures total COSO compliance with regards to KCs applicable in Human Resources
    • Jointly (with Site Leader) owns the people planning process (PPP) for the operation
    • Drives compliance with EEA and SDA compliance agenda
    • Proactively identify talent flight risks and possible requirements for leadership/environmental change in order to retain talent
    • Provides counsel and advice to management team and employees

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree/ B-TECH in HRM, business, statistics or related field of study.
    • 3 Years working experience in a FMCG environment or similar role.
    • Strong analytical skills – sees connections and transforms data and information into meaningful insights.
    • Strong Excel knowledge.
    • Ability and knowledge for effectively interacting with Business Users, middle- and senior managers and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to understand technical functionality and constraints of Business applications to provide feasible solutions.
    • Ideally experience in a HR Information Systems
    • Ideally experience with reporting packages (Business Objects) and Tableau
    • Ideally Business Process Design and ERP Systems i.e SAP, SAP Success Factors, SAP Mini-Master, Kronos and Laserfische
