Systems Design & Analysis: You’ll be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing the complete technical workflows that run our business, from initial concept to final product.
Process Development & Improvement: Work across various teams to define and design efficient processes and systems.
Prototyping: Define technical specifications and break down design brief into actionable steps for the team to implement and execute.
Blueprints & Technical Drawings: Create detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation that link to machinery and processes, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and system schematics.
Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, and operations.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze current systems, making recommendations for improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures.
Cost Control: Develop methods to reduce operational costs, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
Facility Layout Design: Plan the layout of manufacturing or operations facilities to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support decision-making in process improvement, production, and resource management.
Technical Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Proven 3-year experience in industrial engineering, systems design, or a related field, with a strong background in developing and leading technical projects, and process optimization.
In-depth knowledge of system design, prototyping, mechanical processes, and technical drawings (including CAD, SolidWorks etc.).
Behavioural Competencies:
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive collaboration across departments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teams, and present findings.
Ability to think critically and propose technical solutions to complex problems, driving innovation and efficiency in operations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
