As an Irrigation Designer, you will play a critical role in surveying agricultural land and developing efficient, tailored irrigation systems that drive productivity and sustainability for clients.

Essential Requirements
Grade 12 / NQF4 minimum
A degree or National Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ experience in irrigation design
SABI membership and SABI Irrigation training is advantageous
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Model Maker, IrriMaker, AutoCAD, and/or IrriCAD
Experience with CHC NAV / TRIMBLE land surveying equipment
Advanced MS Excel and MS Office Suite skills
Understanding of plant and soil science is beneficial
Valid Driver’s Licence; flexible to work extended hours
Key Responsibilities
Conduct land surveys and design centre pivots, micro, and drip systems
Prepare designs, bills of quantities, technical drawings, and quotations
Select pumps, design pumphouses, and specify pipe systems
Liaise with suppliers, installation teams, farm managers, and clients
Support business growth through participation in farmers’ days and trade shows
