The junior data analyst is responsible for working across Drivatic’s client base supporting our Power BI Consultants in solution design. The core responsibility of this role is ensuring client business objectives are met with effective and aesthetically pleasing digital products that help our clients gain value from their data.
You will be learning how to develop and maintain Power BI reports. From data modelling, Dax and visualization of data. This is a key role that supports our senior data analysts.
The ideal candidate will use their passion for analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics.
12 month contract

Starting Salary: R10 000 per month

Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
- Ability to think from the user perspective, understand good UX (user-experience) fundamentals.
- Design clean, functional, and practical user interfaces.
- Assist in finding inventive solutions to complex problems that meet client’s needs.
- Use a variety of techniques to document these solutions including user stories, wireframes, prototypes, and design documents.
- Good understanding of business, processes, efficiency strategies.
- Develop Power BI reports
- Update and maintain client reports/dashboards
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Proven capability to act in the role of business analyst, including understanding and designing business processes.
- A commanding desire to learn and succeed.
- Proven capability to lead solutions design with an emphasis on UX/UI
- Strong written and inter-personal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and make initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work remotely effectively with a reliable internet connection.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and fun to work with.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience
