Junior Excel Data Specialist at Marvel Placement Consultant

Minimum Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not essential—practical skills and a strong work ethic are highly valued.
• Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a data-centric, reporting, or Excel-intensive role, ideally within logistics, operations, or finance, will be advantageous.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Navision or a similar ERP system.

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as

• PivotTables,
• VLOOKUP
• SUMIFS
• INDEX-MATCH, and data validation techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and capture operational data from departments such as Transport, Wages, and Customer Portals into structured Excel reports.
• Cleanse, validate, and maintain large datasets to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Develop and maintain dynamic, error-free Excel reports using advanced functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX-MATCH, and conditional formatting.
• Extract and analyse data from Microsoft Dynamics Navision, integrating it seamlessly into reporting models.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, collect, and rectify missing or inconsistent data, supporting improved data quality practices.
• Assist in the creation of performance dashboards and visual reporting tools, where applicable, to support operational insights and decision-making.
• Ensure reports are delivered accurately and on time, maintaining high standards under pressure and tight deadlines.
