    Lending Admin Team Leader - Sandton

    Key qualifications for the Lending Admin Team Leader include:

    • Bachelor of Finance Degree
    • 4-6 years of Banking experience essential
    • Experience leading a team
    • Experience with personal finance products and processes essential
    • Knowledge of Lending products essential

    Key duties for the Lending Admin Team Leader include but are not limited to:

    • Monitor and ensure optimal functioning of the Lending Admin team
    • Resolve formal complaints, analysing and identifying areas for improvement
    • Use MIS for necessary changes and improvements
    • Assist QA in setting and maintaining QA standards
    • Participate in project meetings and take ownership of relevant tasks
    • Continuously define and improve processes for operational efficiency
    • Play a key role in driving technical automation within the system
    • Establish, maintain, and build relationships with key stakeholders across Shared Services
    • Communicate effectively and provide continuous updates on relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrate and instil the company core values through interactions with the team and stakeholders
    • Facilitate regular team meetings and encourage growth and development
    • Partner with QA and Technical Learning to identify and address training gaps
    • Own training material and delivery methods
    • Manage recruitment, integration of new hires, leave, and staff capacity
    • Create an environment conducive to living the organizational culture
    • Identify potential risks and mitigate them through daily, weekly, or monthly exception reports
    • Escalate unmitigated risks to the Risk Operational Officer
    • Address risks highlighted in internal audit reports
    • Compile a Risk indicator dashboard for day-to-day operations within the team

    Key personal skills:

    • Strong proficiency in independent work
    • Willingness to challenge established norms
    • Ability for critical analysis, creative problem-solving, and adaptability
    • Enthusiasm for exploring innovative concepts
