    Plant Technician - Midrand

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Relevant Qualification 
    • Sound knowledge of interior/exterior plants 
    • Experience in plant care, plumbing and water cooler technology
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lead and train a team effectively 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Carry out Plants Services as per prescribed method and sequence as stated in Plants Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Carry out work for the day as per the work plan issued by the controller during debriefing
    • Service all customers as per the work schedule for the day.
    • Represent Servest in the best manner possible by always portraying a positive image at all times.
    • Report back to the Operations Controller all customer requirements communicated to you by the customer at customer sites immediately.
    • Promptly address customer complaints and requirements if and when required.
    • Ensure equipment is in good working order at all times.
    • Complete daily/weekly/monthly equipment checks.
    • Report faulty equipment to the controller immediately.
    • Ensure service records are completed correctly and returned to the controller.

    Customer Relationship Manager (Gauteng West/Pretoria/ Bloemfontein)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business management or similar
    • A proven track record managing a team of people effectively and efficiently, delivering on required commercial outcomes
    • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a service and customer relations environment. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop effective commercial strategies
    • Strong and effective negotiation skills to establish mutually acceptable and sustainable contractual agreements.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the business strategy, client and commercial focus areas as well as the desired outcomes.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse market trends and customer behaviour.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, develop and motivate a team. Understanding profitability and factors influencing profitability in a business. Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in the industry preferred.
    • Ability and capability to travel between branches monthly (Gauteng West,Pretoria and Bloemfontein).
    • Own car and valid drivers license is essential

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure all clients in allocated base are in contract for a minimum of 12 months but ideally 36 months.        
    • Ensure client contracts are negotiated and concluded before the expiration of the current contract period.
    • Ensure the implementation of the directed price increase and pricing strategies. Maintain and report on price increase records and reports to the Regional Manager.
    • Ensure all gap opportunities are identified and followed up with proposals to our clients.
    • Daily management of a team of Key Account Managers and Quality Controllers
    • Ensure Key Account Managers negotiate profitable pricing and mutually beneficial terms and conditions on all contracts and agreements.
    • Ensure Key Account Managers systematically review, analyse, and action all client contracts in line with the commercial requirements of the business.
    • Ensure clients at risk are identified, reported and risk mitigation action plans are implemented and followed through to the point of continued sustainability.
    • Ensure the required KPD surveys are planned and fulfilled monthly and ensure feedback to the business that is relevant, accurate and of value.
    •  Maintain a relationship and manage top 20 customer relationships in region

    Site Manager - Randburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12/Matric
    • Minimum 2-3 years Management experience preferably in the food manufacturing industry
    • Must have experience with HACCP and food safety standards People Management Skills
    • Able to work under pressure Able to work long hours, after hours and some weekends
    • Ability to communicate, motivate, develop, and coach staff at all levels
    • Must have administration skills

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Liaise with the manager on a daily basis regarding current tasks, and assist in the planning of future tasks
    • Ensure all assigned duties are carried out, and that the resources are efficiently utilized
    • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by staff
    • Act as a communication conduit between management and staff
    • Maintain and control use of stock, equipment and consumable
    • Timeously request purchase of consumables, equipment and materials
    • Assist the manager to maintain asset register
    • Monitor and report absenteeism to the manger
    • Actively promote health and safety, and report any breach directly to the manager
    • Ensure that all staff are wearing appropriate PPE
    • When required, gather and provide information on a daily basis, monthly and annual basis, including schedules, consumable issues and usage etc
    • Prepare rosters for approval by the manager
    • Work with members of other teams as required
    • Check all equipment that require replacement items as needed
    • Report faulty equipment to the manager within 12 hours of breakdown
    • Conduct daily walk abouts on arrival and ending shift to ensure housekeeping standards are met and maintained in all facilities, and report short comings or faults to the manager
    • Monitor and assist in planning for holiday work requirements (bi/annual cleaning work)
    • Other duties that are assigned
    • Occasionally work night shift to ensure nightshift team maintain cleaning standards.

    Operations Manager - Johannesburg

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Clear criminal record
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry
    • Clear criminal record / Valid drivers license / Own reliable vehicle;
    • A qualification in Operations/Business Management;

    • CSI - Customer Service Intelligence
    • Develop and maintain systems to ensure client service level agreement adhered to at all times.
    • Ensure efficient Customer Service Intelligence, that is accurate, real time and valuable information, is provided to the clients.
    • Develop and maintain relationship with client contact person and accounts person.
    • Establish and monitor a cleaning plan for each building in accordance with the service level agreements.
    • Conduct site visits of allocated sites and report on activities, results and recommendations.
    • Manage delivery of cleaning chemicals and consumables to sites. Manage availability and condition of site equipment.
    • Manage the entire start up process of all new contracts to include staff recruitment, induction, work schedules etc.
    • Control and management of Company assets and full knowledge of insurance requirements related thereto.
    • Manage area performance against agreed targets and budgets, and within policies and standards.
    • Manage direct expenses and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the area.
    • Achieve monthly non contractual revenue targets; Maintain existing customer base and ensure up selling on existing contracts.
    • Manage all staff reporting to this position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.
    • Manage Industrial relations in area; Manage staff scheduling to include monitoring of time and attendance, leave schedules, overtime etc.
    • Implement cleaner work schedules and evaluate and manage performance.
    • Adhere to company policy and procedures and Servest Group values.
