Manages and conducts research and the monitoring and evaluation of the Department’s programmes and advises on their efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensures best practice and evidence led programme implementation related to ECD and Youth Development, Street People and Safe Spaces, Substance Abuse and Gender Development and Vulnerable Groups.
Manages the development and review of policies and strategies related to programme implementation.
Manages integrated programme planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation across the Department as well as other City Departments.
Manages financial control of funding and expenditure related to programmes.
