    Mid-Level Graphic Designer

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled mid-level graphic designer who can conceptualize, and design, print, digital, and social media assets. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to larger design projects. An added advantage would be having a basic knowledge of desktop publishing, video editing, and web design. We require someone with a strong grasp of all social media platforms and current trends in social media to create effective designs.

    The ideal candidate is someone who challenges the norm and embodies our philosophy of divine discontent (Never stop chasing brilliance attitude).

    Work Experience

    • Experience working on a range of design projects, including print materials such as, brochures, business cards, and posters, as well as digital designs such as website layouts, social media graphics, and email newsletters.
    • Experience collaborating with clients, marketing teams, and other designers to understand project goals and deliver designs which meet those goals.
    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept development to final production.
    • Experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality designs.
    • Experience working with printers and other production vendors to ensure designs are produced correctly.
    • Experience designing graphics for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
    • Experience creating social media campaigns and managing social media accounts.
    • Experience using analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns.

    Skills

    • Strong typography, and layout skills, with an eye for detail and an understanding of the principles of design.
    • Ability to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate a brand's message.
    • Knowledge of design trends, and best practices, and the ability to adapt to changing design trends.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software. Adobe Creative Suite is preferable.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts to clients and team members.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
    • Familiarity with basic photography and video editing skills.
    • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback to improve design work.
    • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
    • Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools.
    • Ability to create engaging social media content including graphics, animations, and videos.
    • Understanding of SEO and how it relates to social media.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Open-Mindedness: Be open to feedback and constructive criticism, and willing to learn from others to continuously improve their work.
    • Collaborative Spirit: Be a team player. Willing to collaborate with others, sharing ideas and skills to create the best possible designs.
    • Technical Aptitude: Have a good understanding of design software and tools, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the design process.
    • Attention to Trends: Should stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices, adapting their work to reflect the latest trends in the industry.
    • Positive Attitude: Have a positive attitude and be able to approach challenges with a can-do attitude, remaining optimistic and committed to creating the best possible designs.
