People Administrator at Luno

Your mission will involve: 

• Taking ownership of the administrative process from offer to onboarding, while ensuring that the Luno candidate experience is out-of-this-world.

• Ensuring that new starters to Luno are guided through the pre-onboarding experience and that any queries are answered in a timely manner.

• Accurate and timely benefit administration which will require liaising with our providers.

• Assist the onboarding project team with implementing continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Becoming the person responsible for all Luno branded merchandise (we call this our Swag).

• Ensuring a continuous feedback loop between the new starters and the team through effective communication.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Studies towards or a relevant HR degree will be an advantage

• Experience working in a tech industry would be an advantage

• Working experience as a HR Intern or Administrator would be an advantage

• A self-starter attitude and the ability to take initiative, by being obsessed with the best

• Great attention to detail and a growth mindset - ensuring that we get it done, right

• A passion for coordinating projects and/or events to facilitate a great employee experience 

• The patience and communication skills to deal with numerous new starter queries and stakeholder processes simultaneously

• An ability to be quick on their feet and agile; and to adapt to constant change

In your first three months, you will:

• Assist with onboarding 100+ new starters to Luno

• Assist with setting up providers for Luno merchandise in the majority of our regions as well as ensuring that our stock levels are adequate

• Serve as the golden thread between the Talent Acquisition and People Partnering teams
