In this role, you’ll oversee the production planning and execution of specialized mining products, ensuring high-quality equipment is delivered efficiently. You’ll supervise daily production activities, report progress, and update plans to meet deadlines. Your role will involve managing material procurement, stock control, and production staff, while also ensuring adherence to quality procedures and safety standards. By liaising with the technical office and coordinating with logistics, you’ll play a crucial part in enhancing production efficiency and minimizing wastage. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, support marketing and sales initiatives, and foster customer relations, making a significant impact on their manufacturing operations.
What you’ll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a minimum of an N3 qualification as a qualified Boilermaker, along with a strong background as a Production Manager in the manufacturing or mining sector. Proficiency in planning software and AutoCAD is essential, as well as extensive experience with plasma cutting technology. Your demonstrable leadership skills, ability to manage a diverse team, and exceptional problem-solving abilities will be crucial. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed are also required.
