    Professor / Associate Professor, School of Education

    PROFESSOR / ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (1 POST)

    • Specialisation: Natural Sciences OR Technology OR Languages OR Economic Management Sciences (EMS)**
    • The School seeks a distinguished scholar or emerging academic leader committed to advancing transformative teacher education. This appointment represents a strategic investment in strengthening research intensity, postgraduate growth, and scholarly impact within the School.

    Minimum Requirements: Professor

    • PhD in Education or a closely related discipline aligned to the specialisation
    • Minimum 10 years of sustained academic experience
    • Established record of high-quality research output with demonstrable national and international recognition
    • Successful supervision of Master’s and Doctoral candidates to completion
    • Evidence of academic leadership and research capacity-building
    • Participation in externally funded research initiatives
    • Strong community-engaged and socially responsive scholarship

    Minimum Requirements: Associate Professor

    • PhD in Education or a closely related discipline
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive academic experience
    • Demonstrated research productivity with growing national and/or international visibility
    • Evidence of postgraduate supervision
    • Participation in collaborative research and scholarly networks
    • Contribution to curriculum innovation and academic citizenship

    Strategic Expectations

    The successful candidate will:

    • Provide intellectual and scholarly leadership
    • Strengthen research output and collaborative networks
    • Expand postgraduate enrolment and supervision capacity
    • Contribute to grant development and research partnerships
