Plan, organise, lead and control the City's economic programmes and initiatives on job creation.
Provide strategic leadership in the development of the job creation policies, strategies, progammes and guidelines to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
Plan and implement operational plans and process that are aligned with the divisional objectives to ensure implementation.
Manage and maintain governance and risk management activities of the division to ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.
Participate in and implement financial management of the division' budget planning processes to ensure compliance with financial controls as contemplated in the MFMA
Manage and ensure customer service orientation to ensure sound relations with the customer in relation to job creation programmes activities
Job Requirements
BCom Degree in Economic, Management, Social Sciences or Development Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.
