Job Description    

• Conduct product training on site.
• Actively promote benefits of products such as improved safety and improved efficiencies.
• Report any irregularities to Explosives Technical Representative.
• Develop continuous improvement practices to ensure required blasting are achieved.
• Comply with governance, established policies, systems, procedures and practices.
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
• Continues reporting to Technical Representative and Mining Personnel.
• Manage the Performance Base Contract in a professional manner.
• Compile underground visit reports.

Qualifications & Experience    

• Minimum Grade 12
• Mining degree or diploma
• At least 3 years underground mining experience
• Underground blasting certificate
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Good knowledge of underground mining under different mining conditions
• Competent A and B (Advantageous)
• Coach the learner (Advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license – minimum code B
