    Public Policy Intern

    Requirements:

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • N6 in Business Management or HR

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Project Administration (30%)

    • Compliance Ownership: Lead the end-to-end preparation and execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and legal frameworks for social impact partners.
    • Financial Integrity: Take full ownership of the social impact budget tracker, processing invoices and ensuring all financial records align with audit requirements.
    • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central communication hub between the Public Policy team and external partners to ensure project alignment and momentum.
    • Knowledge Management: Architect and maintain a centralized digital repository for all social impact documentation, ensuring data is accessible for reporting and impact assessments.

    Social Impact Program Coordination (70%)

    • Economic Inclusion Oversight: Manage the end-to-end coordination of the Marketplace and Personal Shopper social impact programs, ensuring participants meet all milestones within the Takealot strategic framework.
    • Participant Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of the participant journey, from initial vetting to final activation, ensuring a frictionless programme onboarding experience.
    • Skills & Capacity Building: Partner with external training providers to monitor learner progress; proactively intervene when completion rates lag to ensure program KPIs are met.
    • Performance Analytics: Monitor and report on key conversion metrics (KPIs) per region, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize the "lead-to-active" journey.
    • Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Recruitment and Onboarding teams to identify and resolve process bottlenecks that hinder the growth of the Marketplace and Personal Shopper ecosystems.
    • Digital Transformation: Maintain and update a centralized SOP library, ensuring that all team members have access to the latest versions of project frameworks and compliance checklists.
