    Senior Sales Executive B2B (Durban/Midrand)

    We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, and competitive B2B Sales Executive in Durban to grow the B2B customer base. The B2B Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving Defy’s revenue growth objectives. The candidate will be acquired to get new business and building sales through strong customer relationships. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach are a must!

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Achieving set monthly targets
    • Ability to establish new customers that will include plan/execute approaches
    • Calling on architects, quantity surveyors, developers, and contractors to follow up on new projects.
    • Recognizing opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling through regular contact, including face to face visits, and monitoring of Customer needs
    • Ability to secure appointments with qualified leads
    • Manage and increase profitability in B2B Channel
    • Supply chain demand plan for B2B clients that will include forecasting
    • Account Management – project management
    • Reporting – Presentations/monthly reporting
    • Planning
    • Negotiation skills
    • Maintaining strong relationships with customers through visits/calls
    • Project managing sites – oversee site and assist with technical knowledge.
    • Working closely with internal sales i.e., sending orders and following up. Establishing open communication channels between the Customer and relevant departments within company to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Engaging in consistent research to build a thorough knowledge and understanding of territory, current industry, market and competitor trends and developments
    • Monitoring and researching development and changes in assigned territories
    • Engage in continuous learning to exhibit a thorough understanding of company products and solution

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric (incl. a pass in Accounting/Mathematics) – minimum
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. (Advantageous)
    • 2 to 3 years sales experience in the B2B channel
    • Proven track record of achievement against defined targets
    • Strong communication skills, grammar and writing ability
    • Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel and in particular MS PowerPoint.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Strong Sales Skills, both lead generating and follow through.
    • Possess a strong understanding of the sales process.
    • Personable and professional delivery in client interactions.
    • Must be a team player, exhibiting strong communication skills and flexibility.
    • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
