Senior Town Planner
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Matric
- Experience 5 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Applicants must be in possession of a:
- Grade 12
- Accredited academic qualification- in town -and regional planning (B-degree) At least 5 years’ relevant town planning experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Valid code B driver’s license
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic planning skills
- Good communication skills in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Duties will entail:
- Town planning functions- Land use management
- Facilitating and managing the processing of land use applications and appeals in a Town planning office
- Management of subordinates
- Municipal Human Settlement projects
- Administrative assistance
- Land use planning and By-law contraventions
- General.
