    Service Advisor- Pietermaritzburg

    Job Description

    • As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in our customer service team, ensuring exceptional support and guidance for clients regarding their service and maintenance needs.
    • This position focuses on front-line customer interaction, where you will enhance customer satisfaction and drive loyalty through effective communication and problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Assess client needs and recommend service plans or products accordingly.
    • Schedule and coordinate service appointments while ensuring optimal use of resources.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate service records, including customer interactions and service recommendations.
    • Communicate with technicians to ensure thorough understanding of service requirements.
    • Follow up with clients post-service to assess satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
    • Collaborate with sales and service teams to promote additional products and services that enhance customer experience.
    • Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends to effectively advise customers.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
    • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and appointments effectively.
    • Demonstrable experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
    • Proficient in using computer systems and software to manage customer records and service schedules.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
    • Relevant certifications in customer service or automotive service management.
    • Familiarity with dealership operations and service processes is advantageous.
    • Bilingualism is considered a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
