Spa Attendant at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

Mount Nelson Hotel are looking for a Fixed Term Spa Attendant with a strong commitment to excellence who will uphold our high professional standards and enhance our guests’ experience.

• To clean, service and maintain all areas of the Spa and public areas.

• Assist Spa therapists by replenishish supplies such as bathrobes and linens in between treatments.

• Adhere to the cleaning guidelines and to ensure all public areas in the Spa are clean and inspected according to departmental standards.

• To ensure that hygiene standards are adhered to at all times & disinfecting the treatment surfaces & equipment between treatments as per laid down standards & procedures.

• To ensure that the spa is neat, clean & tidy at all times & help in retaining the aesthetic beauty of the same.

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc).

• To report and safeguard all lost property ensuring it is all handed in and logged daily.

• Complete the weekly and monthly task lists as assigned by the supervisor.

• Maintain hygiene standards throughout the Spa by ensuring constant cleaning and sanitising of all touch points.

• Ensuring that all the changing areas are clean, tidy and stocked with towels and bathrobes.

• Ensuring that cleanliness standards are maintained at all times both front of Spa and back of Spa.

• Clean, stock and supply the Spa Conservatory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.

• 1-2 years previous experience in a similar position advantageous.

• Good attention to detail.

• Customer-oriented.

• Knowledge of a variety of cleaning products and equipment.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
