    Specialist - Rewards.Human Resources

    Responsibilities

    The Reward Specialist/Analyst will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

    Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Extract, analyse and prepare all internal and external total reward reports on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis, or as and when required:
    • Pay equity analysis, identifying trends and anomalies
    • Annual increase and bonus process data preparation and support
    • Recognition and incentive programmes
    • Participation and utilisation for all benefits and retirement plans
    • Increase mandate
    • Union negotiations

    Research:

    • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation surveys to analyse external competitiveness. This includes draft responses, submission and managing the relationship with benchmark providers.
    • Provide insights and data analysis to the reward team regarding compensation and benefits.

    Operational delivery

    • Execute processes to validate reward-related data.
    • Investigate reward and benefit queries
    • Consult and collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding compliance and regulatory requirements in relation to reward and report on issues identified and recommend corrective measures.
    • Provide support to the Reward team

    Record keeping

    • Maintenance of efficient and effective record keeping.
    • Co-ordinate and maintain updating of reward policies and procedures.
    • Assist with audits and compliance documentation

    People (Learning & Growth) Perspective

    • Contribute to a high performing team by sharing knowledge, training and development in subject matter expertise.
    • Ensure open communication channels with team members, contribute and participate in change management interventions where necessary.
    • Aim to achieve and meet KPIs and ensure regular performance feedback is received, and performance related perspectives is provided to Performance Manager that will enhance performance standards.
    • Continuously seek self-professional development to hone skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
    • Track and self-evaluate performance and identify training and development requirements and opportunities to continuously improve stakeholder collaboration, quality of work and productivity.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree majoring in a numeric-relate field.
    • Global Reward Professional (preferred).

    Experience

    • 2-3 years work experience applying analytics and reporting.
    • 2 years in reward (advantages).
