Develop and implement Defy’s brand strategies to increase brand equity and market share. Align the brand message with business goals and consumer needs.
Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, from product launches to seasonal promotions, ensuring consistency in brand messaging.
Conduct market research and analyze consumer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities. Use insights to shape branding initiatives and product positioning.
Work with Product Management teams to define product positioning and messaging, ensuring alignment with brand values and market trends. Support product launches with strong marketing strategies.
Manage partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and credibility, including collaborations with influencers, media, and other strategic partners.
Monitor and analyse brand performance through key metrics such as sales, brand equity scores, and customer feedback. Adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
Manage the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring that all initiatives are cost-effective and deliver measurable ROI.
Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Design Teams to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
Support Defy’s commitment to sustainability by incorporating green practices into brand strategies, promoting eco-friendly product features, and leading initiatives that highlight Defy’s innovation in this area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in a Brand or Marketing-related role, preferably within the home appliances or consumer electronics sectors
Strong analytical skills with experience in analysing market research and data-driven decision-making
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
Knowledge of sustainability practices and green marketing (advantageous)
