Purpose Statement

• To meet product delivery objectives by providing technical oversight and taking responsibility for enhancing the quality and capability of solution delivery.
• To utilise technical expertise to guide and instruct delivery teams and the business regarding the product and technical solutions

Experience

Minimum:

• At least 5 years’ experience implementing product solutions and supporting architecture 
• SQL Query writing
• Product development life cycle
• Analysis/report development in a financial/banking environment

Qualifications (Minimum)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - Programming or Similar

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Certification in AWS Practitioner

Knowledge

Minimum:

• IT systems - development processes, operations incl. support, risk management, systems, security, engineering
• Application development
• Extensive knowledge of coding
• System architecture (technical design and implementation processes)
• Testing practices
• Quality principles and practice
• Business analysis and design
• Principles of governance and risk management 
• Banking systems
• Systems Development Life Cycle and Data Product Life Cycle
• Knowledge of both waterfall and agile development life cycles
• A good understanding of design and user experience principles 
• Business products, processes, policies and systems
