    Training Officer

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Grade 12, Diploma or Degree in Human Resources will be advantageous.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 1-2 years as a training administrator or trainer.
    • KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
    • Knowledge of FMCG environment
    • Meat processing
    • Knowledge in working with SETAs
    • Understanding of Skills and Employment Equity Act.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Communication both written and verbal
    • Planning and organizing and coordination.
    • Training facilitation
    • Critical thinking
    • Problem Solving

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA’S)

    •  Training Planning and Scheduling
    • To draw up the training schedule
    • List number of trainings programs to be rolled out
    • List number of employees to be trained
    • Partner with managers in scheduling required training
    • Manage employee training attendance
    • Book training facilities and equipment required
    • Training facilitation
    • Book training room and equipment required
    • Manage training stationery, e.g. training manuals, flip charts, pens etc
    • Understand your training content
    • Engage and manage training conversation and assess understanding and engagement from the audience
    • Maintain professionalism and presentation etiquette at all time
    • Note important elements raised by audience to be addressed by management
    • Note points and feedback for content update, SOPs updates and any additional required training interventions
    • Keep accurate training attendance register for ATR and WSP reporting
    • Make sure all applicable employees are trained on new SOP’s or amended SOP’s
    • Assist with administering and conducting new employees induction/orientation.
    • Create and update Training content
    • Partner with business in getting information on SOP updates, introduction of new equipment.
    • Request information about new SOP or new equipment
    • Document and prepare learning material are required
    • To conduct waste theme meetings and suggestion meetings
    • Manage training documents and records
    • Partner with SETAs to understand new programs that can benefit business
    • Compile and submit workplace skills plans and annual training reports
