Ward Hostess at Tsebo Solution

• We are recruiting for a ward hostess who works individually on patient wards. The hostess will serve breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks in a very busy, fast paced environment. Duties will also include checking the temperature of food and fridges, recording it prior to service to patients, cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas, cupboards, fixtures and appliances.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Serve all food and beverages within a timely manner and attend to patient requests in order to ensure they have a great customer experience.
• Ensure that menu cards are accurately filled out with the patient's selection.
• Ensure that the menu cards are returned as quickly as possible to the kitchen.
• Ensure that you update your diet list before meals.
• After serving meals to patients, trolleys should be returned to the kitchen in an orderly fashion.
• Before placing trays in the trolley and setting them in front of the patient, make sure they are complete.
• Ensure the ward kitchen is consistently clean and orderly.
• To ensure that the Company & Statutory regulations regarding cleanliness & hygiene are complied with within all tasks undertake
