Why do we need you?

• Efficiently manage the operation of both the Finished goods, Local and Imported merchandise and Raw material warehouse.
• Ensure that high degree of customer service is maintained, through speed, accuracy and quality of the loading function.
• Ensure that all SAP and administration related functions are timeously done.
• Conduct stock takes and cycle counts as required.
• Compile monthly and periodic reports as required.
• Ensure that all invoices are receipted SAP.
• Ensure that everyone in the warehouse obey safety regulations and observe safety precautions as laid down in the applicable legislation.
• Build and manage a highly motivated and professional team who can meet the demands of a fast-paced challenging business environment whilst also ensuring the site meets demanding customer service and quality targets

Inherent Requirements    

• The ideal candidate must have aDegree or Diploma in Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering. FI Practioner (if internal)/WCM experience (if internal)
• Min 3 years’ experience in logistics, inventory control and warehouse supervision within production planning environment
• At least 1 years’ Management/ supervisory experience within a Warehousing/Logistics Environment
• This role calls for a person with the ability to do Budgeting and cost management. The ideal candidate will need to have experience within managing a team. Good communication skills and Interpersonal skills.

• To co-ordinate various aspects of supply chain management, warehouse, inventory, purchasing and Materials management.
