    SmartTrade BA, Johannesburg

    Project Description
    The candidate will be expected to join a newly created Luxoft practice which is experiencing significant growth and be assigned to work with well known banks and brokerage houses to carry out a front to back review of how FX trades feed in from brokers and institutional clients via emarkets platforms and industry liquidity providers including Bloomberg and Reuters together with understanding all systems the current implementation connects to (limit management, pre trade checks, good to trade and KYC) as well as downstream consumers with a view to replace and update the FX trading system by integration of a new liquidity trading system provider.

    Responsibilities
    Integrate fx trading platform into client infrastructure

    This role will be client based role working in a small group of business and technologists and the candidate will have a chance to shape the evolution and integration of a major new platform into the bank. The candidate will be provided with mentoring and initial training but is expected to hit the ground running and navigate large corporates to make an impact from day 1

    Skills
    Must have

    • Systems analysis and project management
    • A good understanding of fx spot pricing and risk management (not from a quant point of view) but from a trading, execution, liquidity aggregation and risk management point of view
    • More specifically from a technology integration point of view and working with vendors to replace an existing FX trading system and introduce a new one and dealing with stakeholders and sponsors to alert them with areas of complexity and where decisions and optionality exists

    Nice to have

    • Experience of working in a front office demanding environment where perseverance and determination is valued
    • Someone with a resilient attitude who is flexible in how projects are approached
    • Knowledge of working with technology vendors and outsourced teams as well would be of interest

    Murex BAU Collateral SME, Remote South Africa Senior

    Project Description
    Luxoft has been engaged by a leading South African Financial Services organisation to provide Murex support services within their trading and risk operations.

    We require an experienced support person with strong knowledge of the Murex collateral module and broad exposure to financial markets. You will be working in a high performing team of Luxoft and client staff.

    sThe role is to drive, develop and support the trading platform for the business. This will involve liaising with colleagues in a number of geographies but with a key focus on the business activities taking place in London and South Africa.

    The role is not based in South Africa, but you will be expected to support during their core working hours.

    Murex Integration MxML Consultant, Remote South Africa

    Project Description
    Luxoft have been engaged on this multi-year Murex upgrade and Treasury transformation program for one of our reputed client in South Africa and will require multi-skilled experienced developers across all modules of Murex covering front to back to risk. Candidates with technical expertise and domain knowledge in Murex modules are key to success of this project and to help our client with their aim of upgrading their existing murex version.

    Responsibilities

    • Part of the Integration team, candidates will perform the following responsibilities:
    • Creation of FpML templates across all products
    • Assess the impact of reference benchmarks across all integrations, provide changes, and prepare test cases.
    • Contribute to overall solutions as per Integration deliverables
    • Define overall testing strategy for the stream and perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

    Skills
    Must have

    • Strong understanding of XML/XSLT, Workflows, Integration concepts, Trade Repository and Trade Life Cycle
    • Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providers

    Must:

    • 6+ years' experience with Murex BO and/or Accounting Module
    • Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills
    • Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
    • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
    • Must have strong organization skills
    • Strong SQL, Unix, Scripting, Sybase, and Oracle skills
