    Clinical Nurse Practitioner - Vanderbijlpark

The successful candidate will develop and implement activities aimed at strengthening HIV testing, care, and support in and outside DoH health facilities.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of 90-90-90(95-95-95) TB/HIV activities at primary healthcare level.
    • Initiate eligible patients on ART and provide follow-up care.
    • Mentor professional nurses to competency level (and enrolled nurses where required) at DoH facilities on Nurse-Initiated-Management of HIV (NIMART).
    • Provide training with new HIV and TB guidelines, protocols, and SOPs, supporting facility teams with implementation plans and strategies, including monitoring of successful implementation.
    • Supervise and oversee Anova DSD Professional and Enrolled Nurses working in supported facilities.
    • Monitor performance and targets for TB/Adult, Pediatric and Adolescent HIV/PMTCT programmes at primary healthcare level and provide mentorship and technical support to improve performance.
    • Identify gaps within the health system and implement quality improvement plans to address identified gaps.
    • Facilitate implementation of chronic treatment clubs/adherence clubs and implementation of the National Adherence strategy in primary healthcare facilities.
    • Participate in outreach campaigns aimed at mobilising clients for HIV testing services, initiation of ARVs, uptake of contraceptives, etc.
    • Participate in preparation and attendance for USAID visit at the supported facility and follow up on facility USAID action items to oversee their implementation in supported facilities.
    • Review facility Phuthuma performance indicators and develop improvements plans for non-performing indicators.
    • Compile and submit weekly and monthly feedback reports on activities to line manager timeously and any other report as per request.

     Essential qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    • Postgraduate qualification as a Professional Nurse with Primary Health Care specialty (Nurse Clinician).
    • Registration as a professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.
    • Experience working in primary healthcare facilities in the public sector.
    • NIMART trained and certified as competent to work independently.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing HIV-positive patients.
    • Familiar with latest HIV Management, TB and PMTCT guidelines.
    • Ability to travel within Johannesburg & Sedibeng Health District.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good report writing skills.
    • Relationship management.
    • Strong organisational skills, including time management and multi-tasking skills.

    Community Coordinator - Bellville

    We are seeking a Community Coordinator to contribute to the organizational and funder goals through professional leadership of comprehensive community services with overall strategic integration, program coordination, and health care improvements of the district/sub‐district/nodes in line with allocated budget and project goals and protocols. The community support coordinator will work in collaboration with the programme OTLs by providing administrative and coordination support to the programme. This includes the management of the programme OTLs.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage and coordinate all ANOVA Health Institute- programme activities and implementation management at assigned district/sub- district level/nodes. 
    • Develop and maintain key relationships (liaison) with relevant government department and staff, and other stakeholders with a view of joint problem solving and addressing challenges. 
    • Assist the OTL’s with their workplans and the workplans of CHWs monitoring community activities and maintaining a calendar of events to promote awareness of the organization’s mission. 
    • Assist OTL’s with the arrangement of community/stakeholder/ward council meetings – Re: COPC approach & MDT at facilities. 
    • Training, coaching and mentorship of the OTLs for improved programmatic outcomes. 
    • Use the data for decision-making so that OTLs can be made aware of shortfalls and to identify best practices for learning. 
    • Analyse and report on the success of events and marketing initiatives, making recommendations for future improvements. 
    • Implementation of review and analytic controls for critical programme data, identifying bottlenecks and instituting timely corrective actions together with relevant 
    • Provide accurate and regular situation/progress reports to management. 
    • Reports must be submitted at required due dates for the allocated sub-districts and/or relevant sites. 
    • Supervision of administrative staff and their work output as well as monitor the quality of work. 
    • Support recruitment of qualified technical staff to implement work plan activities effectively. 
    • Ensure that all OTLs are inducted on all the Anova policies and procedures and offer refresher training (in collaboration with HR). Where needed, monitor routinely that policies are being implemented.  
    • Document best practices and replicate them where possible. 
    • Arrange routine bi-monthly meetings per sub-district to review performance and to address operational challenges (with M&E). 
    • Develop and manage quality assurance system/s ensuring that all Anova and provincial health care protocols are adhered to. Facilitate multi-disciplinary staff meetings to ensure synergy among programme components. 
    • Ensure that proper inventory system is in place and being implemented. 
    • Develop systems and professional standards including aligning to government standards ensuring the continuum of care. 
    • Have a good understanding of the routine monthly report indicators.

    Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

    • Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
    • Nursing/Health or an equivalent management qualification from an accredited college or university and/or relevant experience. 
    • Prior experience in community outreach, event planning, or customer service.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Drivers Licence and own vehicle

    Office Administrator - Bellville

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Providing Administrative support to the Outreach Team Leader team.
    • Collecting petty cash from the provincial office as when required.
    • Receive all grocery orders from site offices and place orders accordingly.
    • Liaise with site offices regarding “ad hoc” requirements from provincial office and vice versa.
    • Distribute printing, consumables, etc when needed.
    • Adhoc general admin and filing as requested.
    • Assist Community Coordinator with all delegated tasks.
    • Where necessary attend meetings with community coordinator.

    Monitoring & Evaluation Officer - Bellville

    We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to effectively lead and coordinate the implementation of M&E systems focused on data collection, analysis, and reporting of results for the Community Base Services Project. The M&E Officer will report to the Project Manager and work in close collaboration with the Community Coordinators and the Outreach Team Leaders, as well as counterparts to ensure that quality data are available to program teams to guide decision making.

    • Or A minimum 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs
    • A valid Driver's License is preferred.
    • Good knowledge of programme and Project Cycle Management and Development.

    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point: SPSS Ms Access, STATA, Excel, or other statistical software package desired
