    Graduate Recruitment Supervisor

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    This role reports directly to the manager of graduate recruitment, the purpose of the role is to manage the day to day activities within the graduate recruitment team and ensure the effective delivery of graduate recruitment activities across Audit, tax and Advisory service lines. Needs to be able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. The incumbent will also be responsible for engaging with various internal and external stakeholders.

    The successful individual will have to deliver a process, project or service involving the completion of a series of defined tasks where accuracy, and timeliness are critical.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Completes specific tasks that meet the team’s and internal client’s expectations. The incumbent will be responsible for managing projects on a daily basis and supporting the graduate recruitment team.
    • Proactively identifies and appropriately documents issues and their conclusions and consults with appropriate team members as necessary.
    • Keeps senior management informed of significant developments and progress on processes.
    • Consults and escalates on issues beyond own experience or skill set.
    • Supports team members by answering questions and providing accurate information
    • and interpretation of procedures.
    • Works collaboratively, assisting with anything that needs to be done, working alongside people who have a diverse range of skills, styles and approaches.
    • Develops internal network and starts to build knowledge of industry, market trends, competitor activity and products/services.

Meets firm deadlines during Performance Development cycles, including: seeking quality feedback, setting goals, providing input into engagement/project reviews and having regular conversations with Performance Manager, to a standard expected under Open Performance Development.
    • Charges all productive value-add time to Engagement codes to see true value of work delivered and to recognize individual/team effort.
    • Shares knowledge with other KPMG colleagues/teams and contributes to the development of knowledge resources.
    • Partakes in Global People Survey (GPS) and/or wider people focused actions and initiatives which drive cultural improvement across their local team(s).

    Graduate Recruitment officer

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    The purpose of this role is to assist in the coordination and management of the delivery of world class graduate services to ensure that KPMG recruits a diverse pool of graduate talent to meet the changing needs of its business.

    Reporting to the Graduate Recruitment Supervisor, the Recruitment officer will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations, administration of the graduate programmes and co-ordination of regional graduate recruitment activity. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Screening candidate’s applications for Audit and Advisory and inviting candidates for assessments and interviews
    • Inspect applications received through the HR ATS system, email or CV drop offs to ensure if minimum criteria are met

    Data Analytics and Tech Enablement Manager

    Description of the role and purpose of the job:

    Our national Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services practice provides strategic sourcing of Internal Audit; Enterprise Risk Management; Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Contract Compliance and Sustainability services. This involves a strong focus on all aspects of our clients’ core business processes, regulatory, risk, control and IT landscape includes assessing risk, evaluating control effectiveness, identifying weaknesses, and developing solutions. These solutions will need leverage to be Data & Analytics and Technology-enabled.

    The Manager will be responsible for:

    System Support Specialist

    Description of the role and purpose of the job: The System Support Specialist is responsible for taking functional ownership of business systems and acting as the subject matter expert to business process owners and system users. The role includes business support escalation in accordance to agreed service level agreements, including incident, change, problem management and incident analysis reporting.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Resolve calls logged by users for queries, errors and other problems experienced on the system.
    • System functionality testing
    • Ensure that all Enterprise System Module daily checks are performed so information is up-to-date and daily processing by end users can continue.

    • Keep all call tickets updated as work progresses each day

    Service Desk Analyst

    Description of the role and purpose of the job: The Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for user who call the IT Service Desk. Providing the highest level of customer service, the Service Desk Analyst answers incoming calls, documents all incidents and requests information in the service management system. The Service Desk Analyst uses a knowledge base tool along with their expertise to provide support in a timely fashion.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Understanding of KPMG business pressures and the desire to ensure that tickets raised are effectively and efficiently managed and resolved to ensure staff are not impeded in their delivery of services to clients and KPMG through:
    • Managing and prioritising incoming requests to the Service Desk, via different channels, and ensure timely and effective resolution of end user issues.
    • Effectively monitor the status of incidents reported, escalating and updating the team as necessary to ensure interruptions to service are resolved in a timely and efficient manner to agreed SLA’s.
    • Manage resolution of hardware and software related requests and incidents. 
    • Handle and communicate unexpected application and infrastructure outages using IT tools and effective communicating with end users.
    • Interfaces with users of technology, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy, and efficiency to promote a positive image of the department.
    • Perform system installation, configuration and patch management.
    • Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department.
    • Track and analyse trends in Help Desk requests to anticipate potential problems and provide and document proactive resolutions to Service Delivery Manager.
    • Identify, recommend and participate in the development of end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency.
    • Work with IT training and IT Service Delivery Manager to develop and communicate application/system usage guides and FAQs for end users
    • Perform end-user satisfaction surveys and develop action plans with the IT Service Delivery Manager to address areas needing improvement
    • Leverage service desk best practices and process frameworks, such as ITIL, to drive continual process improvement
    • Promote automation, self-service tools and the knowledge base as mechanisms to improve end-user satisfaction and reduce costs

    Skills and attributes required for the role:
