    Superintendent Human Resources SF

    The Appointee should:

    • Possess NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource management or related field
    • Be medically fit to work in the specific business area.
    • Have clear security screening record.
    • Have clear credit record.
    • Have a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
    • Have at least five years HR Management experience, of which three years in a HR generalist Position and at least one year in the mining environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Service Delivery  Ensure that shaft HR Teams provide an effective labour management service to line  Ensure consistent implementation of the labour management value chain initiatives  Ensuring the correct Human Resources standards and processes are in place, practiced and maintained  Develop realistic but challenging HR benchmarks and efficiencies for area of responsibility  Improve systems support to HR (Symplexity, Essbase, etc.)  Ensure accurate labour reporting within your area of responsibility as an important management tool

    Shift Supervisor Production UG

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults).

    • DMR Blasting Certificate (post 1 June 2017) or DMR recognised Mining Operations Level 2 (MQA) and Rock Breaker Level 3 (MQA).

    • Minimum of 3 years mining experience at the level of a Miner (Graduates with 6 months mining experience and 3 months Supervisory experience).

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supervisor Protection Services

    The Appointee should:

    • Be in a possession of NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults
    • Be in a possession of Grade A registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) or the ability to obtain one within 3 months
    • Be in possession of a valid firearm competency certificate issued by the SAPS as per the new Firearm Control Act, Act 60 of 2000
    • Have at least 5 years’ experience in a Security related role and 3 years in an officer capacity
    • Be Medically fit to work in the specific business area
    • Have a clear Security screening record with the ability to drive

    Advantageous Qualifications:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct ad hoc inspections of resources and utilization

    Assistant Supervisor Env Engineering

    The Appointee should:

    • Have Intermediate certificate in MEC.
    • Radiation: additional full RPM Certificate. (where applicable)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Legal Compliance:  Audit, measure and report compliance to legal requirements, group standards and policies are adhered to.  Provide information, for supervisors to ensure that policies, programmes, standards, codes of practice and procedures are maintained in accordance with legal and Group requirements.  Assist Supervisor with maintenance of relevant statutory plans (Ventilation and mine rescue plan).
    • Compliance measurements:  Provide information, for supervisors to measure compliance to Section 11 and 12 of the Mine Health and Safety Act (Occupational Health Risk Assessment and Monitoring).  Assist Supervisor with monitoring and reporting of ventilation and Occupational Hygiene programmes, to ensure they are properly administered.  Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Emergency preparedness programmes.  Report and advice on Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene matters.  Provide solutions to specific Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene matters (known or identified via trend analysis).  Adhere to ventilation and occupational hygiene policies, procedures and standards.  Sets daily, weekly and monthly ventilation and occupational hygiene targets.
    • Reporting structures:  Meet time deadlines pertaining to reporting (daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc).  Provide information and advice regarding ventilation and occupational hygiene matters related to a specific workplace or section of the business area.  Advises on changes to plans, schedules, procedures and standards to minimize the effect of unexpected or unsafe work practices.  Ensures adherence to legal compliance in terms of required reports.  Valid statistics for ventilation and occupational hygiene are available for a specific workplace or section of the business area  Timeous submission of reports  Occupational related exposure histories are recorded and reported.
    • Management of resources and assets:  Assist Supervisor with maintenance of equipment.  Examine and report on condition of ventilation and occupational hygiene equipment and instruments.  Assist with monitoring of quality of equipment and materials supplied to ensure adherence to safety and risk specifications.  Utilize labour efficiency.  Contribute to the achievement of the objectives and targets of the Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene Department and those of the business area.

    Supervisor ICT Procurement and Training

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • Have at least 3-5 years’ experience in an Asset Management role within an ICT environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates the Asset Management Lifecycle Process within the region
    • Ensures ICT users and ICT Team complies with regulatory requirements set by the Company
    • Coordinates the financial and asset management portion of the different sites
    • Supervise Administration aspects of vendor management such as tracking and SLA delivery
    • Submit monthly figures for reporting purposes in the SLA and quarterly presentations

    • Managing budgets and monthly budget reports to ensure no overspending
    • First-line support and managing third-party calls logged for certain Software Applications
    • Provide backup assistance for Training and Development training sessions
    • Provide individual user training if and when required when dealing with our ICT users
    • Provide training on the current AMT tool when required
    • Monthly call stat reports for certain Software Applications
    • Compile and provide audit information when required
    • Ensuring all audit-related information/documentation is filed/stored in a dedicated location
    • Assist with the procurement planning for the region according to the annual budget
    • Maintain customer relations within the ICT Helpdesk and provide a professional service to all our customers
