    Retail Execution Specialist Western & Eastern Cape

    Trade Execution:

    •  Merchandising excellence: Work with the Agility team to ensure that retail outlets are executed to the BOS standards and the right pack availability and cold space achieved
    • Flagship outlets: Using the 80/20 volume principal ensure that the top retails outlets across all retailers have over indexed execution. Help define what good looks like in these outlets and assist with the execution
    • Distribution: Assist in setting regional retailer targets and ensure retail distribution and availability targets are met

    Trade visits & Reports:

    • To ensure effective execution in store 5 days per week are to be spent in trade and at least 1 day per week needs to be in trade with an Agility representative or Divisional Manager
    • Assist the National Key Accounts and Operations Manager with getting on time feedback from Agility teams
    • Ensure on time reporting for monthly and ad hoc reports
    •  NPD: Together with the help from the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager assist with training Agility teams on new product launches

    Agency Management

    • Catman: Regular catch up meetings and trade meet ups with CATMAN field managers/reps and Agility Divisional Managers
    • Regular check in's, trade visits and communication with Agility teams 
    • Training: Make sure the Agility teams and agents are trained on the BOS merchandising standards and on the product key selling points

    Sales

    •  Skynamo: Ensure Skynamo is used in full daily for effective reporting and tracking purposes.
    • Retail: Increase distribution, volume and forward share in all retail stores with a specific focus on Spar and PnP Family stores. 
    • Wholesale: Assist the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations manager with managing EST group and finding new business.

    Trade Marketing:

    • Promotions: Check that agreed retail promotions are implemented in store. Keep a tracker of active promotions in trade and report back to the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager on a monthly basis. Urgent issues to be raised immediately 
    • Pricing: DC recommended and instore pricing to be checked on a regular basis and any variance to be communicated to the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager in a monthly report. Urgent issues to be raised immediately

    Retail POS & assets:  

    • Help roll out regional POS drives across the regional teams and assist the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager to track and enforce on time placement
    • Ensure the Agility team have an up to date target list of fridges they can place in retail and ensure they are assisted with the movement, distribution process.
    • Together with the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager, help develop and implement trade marketing merchandise in relevant venues in accordance with the national rollout guidelines and timing
    • Utilise the sales handheld device to confirm implementation of all POS and promotions

    Team & Reporting 

    •  Strategy: Work with the National Retail Key Accounts and Operations Manager to develop BOS’s Retail sales strategies and lead the execution of these strategies to build brand share and market value in Western Cape and Eastern Cape
    • Sales: Deliver on national and regional sales volume targets by customer, brand, pack and by channel
    • Team: You will assist in motivating Agility teams to maximize their individual performance and the overall performance of the business. You will help develop a culture of high-performance, a strong team spirit within the sales and marketing teams at BOS and our partners 
    • Deliver monthly reports needed for the purposes of the management meeting
    • Self-manage to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are maintained

    Travel

    • You will be expected to travel around the Western Cape and occasionally Eastern Cape to visit customers

    Finance Assistant - Cape Town

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    As Finance Assistant, you will support the Finance Manager in running an effective and efficient finance function at BOS. 

    Responsibilities :

    • Accounting to trial balance.
    • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
    • Supplier reconciliations.
    • Preparation & submission of VAT returns.
    • Capturing of supplier invoices.
    • Capturing sales invoices and credit notes
    • Journal processing
    • Excellent Administration Skills

    Requirements :

    • Relevant accounting/bookkeeper qualification
    • At least 2-4 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting 
    • Microsoft Excel expertise.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
    • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
    • Good problem analysis and solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
