    HR Administrator

    Purpose of the role

    To provide comprehensive and pragmatic administrative HR support to the HR Director and the HR team in line with Company procedures and legal requirements. The HR Administrator provides administrative support to the HR Operations Partners across the full range of HR work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle employee engagement and coordinate administrative functions by supporting the Human Resource Operations Team to encourage implementation of company policies and procedures – including disciplinary, grievance and people management policies in line with best proactive and employment legislation.
    • Assisting with gathering information and verification to support with the HR reporting.
    • Ensuring the upkeep of various HR trackers and following up on any outstanding information and documentation needed.
    • Maintain the highest level of integrity and security on all personal data and communication.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of all data within the business.
    • Support with the IR portfolio by helping with preparation of packs for DE (liaising with relevant line managers to get the pack for review) and supporting in preparation of packs for CCMA.
    • Assisting with the transcribing of minutes during meetings and investigations.
    • Managing the ‘IR Clinic’. Creating better outcomes in terms of positive engagement initiatives.
    • Continuous Improvement by Identifying potential areas of risk and providing practical, sustainable solutions to these e.g., paperwork getting lost, recorders missing, quality of investigation packs.
    • Stakeholder Relationships- encouraging, enhancing, and maintaining these. Also adding value where I can.
    • Participate in various HR Projects.
    • Intermediate exposure to Labour Laws, Regulations, Company Policies and Procedures, Human Resource Practices.
    • Ensure smooth delivery of business deliverables.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Minimum qualification:

    • Matric (completed)

    Minimum Experience:

    • 1 – 2 years’ experience within an HR administrative role.
    • Call centre/ BPO experience is preferred but not essential.
    • Good practical working experience of MS Office, specifically MS Word (mail merging, track changes) and MS Excel (formula and stats)
    • MS Office Outlook and Teams experience

    IR Specialist

    Job Description:

    IR Specialist

    • The IR Specialist will be responsible for supporting IR/HR Internal disciplinary, grievance and Incapacity hearings and CCMA cases as well as section 189’s

    Industrial Relations

    • Ensure disciplinary code is implemented fairly throughout CapitaSA.
    • Handle potential IR queries/problems before it causes dissent.
    • Ensure an effective IR climate prevails with fair practices within CapitaSA.
    • Provide Line Management with effective and latest IR advice and support.
    • Update the business and train Line Managers on new legislation that must be implemented.
    • Represent company at CCMA & Labour Court when required.
    • Responsible for handling and resolving of staff grievances (salary, wages, unfair practices etc.)
    • Maintain shared online IR tracker.
    • Provide weekly/monthly reports.
    • Facilitate meetings if required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Must reside within Cape Town Surrounds

    Minimum Qualification:   

    • Grade 12 and a completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification

    Minimum Experience:

    • 5 years’ experience in a Labour/Industrial Relations position
    • Experience within the Call centre/ BPO will be to your advantage.

    Senior Auditor

    Job Description:

    What you’ll be doing:

    Senior Auditors will be allocated to audit assignments across the group wide audit plan that both builds on their previous experience and develops their potential. Senior Auditors will work in small teams, with coaching, supervision and review from Audit Managers to deliver individual audit assignments. This will include:

    • Being involved in the planning, execution and reporting of individual audits
    • Coaching and supervising Auditors, as the team grows
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the business throughout the audit process
    • Working with the Risk & Compliance team and other second line functions
    • Identifying and escalating risks and issues within the business to the Audit Managers
    • Clearly and actively role modelling the Capita Values and complying with Capita’s Policies

    Senior Auditors will be expected to provide the internal audit service in line with the Capita internal audit methodology and International Internal Audit (IIA) standards. Importantly, quality goes beyond methodology and compliance and encompasses WHAT the internal audit service does and HOW it does it.

    • Key considerations on WHAT include whether the plan provides assurance over the key risks and whether individual reviews have considered and addressed the right systems, processes and controls
    • Key elements of HOW include working in collaboration with management whilst maintaining independence, being agile and flexible to business needs, providing insight to management, responding positively to feedback from the business, role modelling the Capita Values and contributing to the internal audit team a positive way

    • A qualified audit professional – e.g. CA (SA)

    • Operational audit or risk based audit experience
    • Strong communication skills and report writing skills
    • The ability to build relationships as part of audit assignments
    • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

    As well as: 

    • Good practical experience of Systems and IT/PC literate (Internet, MS Teams, Power Point, Excel and Word)

    • Strong business and commercial understanding which facilitates credibility and confidence when interacting with the business
