    Service Sales Specialist - Modderfontein

    Your responsibilities:

    • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.

    Sales Specialist - Modderfontein

    Your responsibilities:

    • Selling products/systems and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. This Role is for the Sub Station Division of Hitachi Energy in Sub Sahara Africa focusing on Retrofit, Extensions & Upgrade, Service of existing install base, New Sub Stations, excluding Civil Works and with the Focus on Containerized Solutions, Mobile Sub Stations, Power Quality installations, such as CAP Banks, SVC's, STATCOM's and the like. Renewables also considered, where we can leverage Engineered Packages to EPC's, including Product supply, Supervision of Installation and Commissioning.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

    Project Manager - Modderfontein

    Your responsibilities

    • Project Leadership: Leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.  Providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
    • Planning and scheduling: Defining, jointly with the project controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial planning, scheduling, and risk management plans.  
    • Project execution and control: Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization.  Monitoring and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.  Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Supporting supply chain management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
    • Stakeholder relations: Acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
    • Health, safety, and environment (HSE): Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

    Your background

    • PMP prerequisite for Hitachi Energy PM certification.
    • Demonstrate negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers.

    Market Manager - High Voltage for South & Southern Africa

    Your responsibilities

    • Sales and marketing: Leading and implementation of business unit strategies and initiatives at a country level to ensure appropriate sales and marketing efforts within the country. Ensuring the business unit portfolio is appropriately represented in the local market. Maintaining cost controls for assigned Business Unit within the local market.
    • Market coverage: Managing and responsible for the demand & supply market for business unit including third party sales, internal sales, and channels and maintaining demand & supply side budget of the Country.
