    Food Service Manager

    Specific duties

    include, but is not limited to the following:
    Stock Control:

    • Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts.
    • Ordering of stock (to be signed off by Village Manager) – liaise with Admin Officer and execute follow up and delivery.
    • Daily receipting and updating of stock counts.

    Meal and Refreshment Service:

    Manage the full meal and refreshment service with assistance from waiters in both the clubhouse and healthcare.

    • All meal bookings
    • Placements of residents in clubhouse
    • Ad hoc drinks service (ie cocktails on special occasions).
    • Provide a full wine service during lunches.
    • Manage the afternoon tea and cake service in the dining room.

    Bar Service:

    • Work as barman at the bar in dining room on allocated evenings
    • Daily, weekly and monthly stock takes (with Ops Manager) on refreshments and glassware
    • Daily cash up

    Set Up for Meal Time and Service:

    • Check on setting of tables, cleanliness of cutlery, crockery and glassware on all tables. Report anomalies to Village Manager and Hospitality & Training Manager
    • Ensure all tables has bowl of ice as requested
    • Meet and greet residents.
    • Take complaints and compliments and pass on to the Food Service Manager

    Coffee Shop:

    • Co-ordinate and manage the service from Waiters at the coffee shop
    • Manage stock in the coffee shop
    • Billing of all orders in coffee shop
    • Daily cash ups according to procedure

    Events:

    • Assist the Village Manager with the set up for events in the dining room (ie themed and special lunches).
    • Meet and greet residents attending the function.
    • Assist with the cleaning after the function and ensure the decor is safely

    Clubhouse Area:

    • Open umbrellas on patio when weather is good, and fold down at the end of the day.
    • Assist with the preparation and clearing away for events in the activity centre.
    • Ensure that all games equipment is accounted for and stored correctly.

    Daily Checks:

    • Do daily checks on all equipment and lights in the clubhouse area and report inconsistencies to the Village Manager or Maintenance Manager.
    • Switch on TV and play music during meal times
    • Switch lights on in the morning
    • Switch on air condition and ensure it is set at the right temperature
    • Report any housekeeping anomalies to the Estate/Maintenance Manager

    Staff Management (waiters - clubhouse and healthcare):

    • Shifts and rostering of all Waiters
    • Arrange for replacement of waiters
    • Signing off on all Waiter hours every month (clockings)
    • Handling of customer complaints as reported by the Waiters

    Working Hours: The incumbent will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month, according to the roster. Normal working days are Mondays to Sundays from 06h30 - 18h30.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications - Senior certificate and tertiary qualification in hospitality advantageous

    Skills and attributes - Proven experience in hospitality industry and/or similar environment. Knowledge of serving etiquette and basic wine knowledge. Basic admin knowledge. Proven organisational and admin skills. Excellent communication skills, computer literate, customer service orientation, responsible, accountable and dedicated.

    Specific requirements - Clear criminal record and contactable references.

    Camera Surveillance Services Manager

    Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

    • Manage 2 direct reports
    • Technical management of the control room, ensuring that quality of camera monitoring is maintained at maximum effectiveness
    • Grow and expand business with new clients including face-to-face client meetings, business development, proposals etc.
    • Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
    • Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
    • Identification of weaknesses in security management
    • Instructing and supervising technicians to deal with any faults
    • Reporting of any shortcomings in equipment
    • Plan and coordinate surveillance operations for specific events
    • Ensure company stays up to date with relevant and latest software
    • Administration of daily checks and logging and following up of reports
    • Reporting to clients on incidents
    • Investigate and resolve issues
    • Putting controls in place to minimise incidents
    • Training of control room staff

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • PSIRA Grade A
    • Post Graduate qualification an advantage

    Experience:

    • Proven experience in the security industry
    • Successful track record in a multi-function security control room
    • Technical ability in managing remote camera environments

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Computer literate
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient communication at all levels
    • Good managerial skills
    • Administratively strong
    • Ability to handle conflict
    • Effective reporting
    • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
    • Extensive knowledge of CCTV systems and their use in managing security risks
    • Knowledge of the operating, monitoring, evaluating and maintaining of CCTV systems
    • Knowledge of security related procedures, equipment, access systems, electric fencing, perimeter security, fire alarms and other related security systems
    • Technical knowledge on Camera technology and systems

    Other requirements:

    • Clear credit record
    • No criminal record
    • Contactable references
    • Own transport

    Carer

    Requirements

    • Experience and Knowledge: Proven experience as a Carer, experience in a similar environment advantageous
    • Skills and Attributes: Knowledge of caring principles and Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work well with the elderly and have compassion for them.

    Working Hours: Normal working days are Mondays to Sundays, according to the duty roster. You will be required to work 16.25 shifts per month.

    You will be required to work night shifts from 19h00 until 07h00.

    • Salary from R 4,800 Cost to Company per month

    Healthcare Co-Ordinator | Registered Nurse

    Duties include but is not limited to the following:

    • Daily clinic for village residents
    • Hombased care for village residents
    • Annual visits to all village residents
    • Screen sub-acute patients in hospital prior to admission
    • Training and orientation of new staff
    • Medication management
    • Assist in the healthcare as required
    • Administration
    • Emergencies

    Requirements

    • Qualifications - Registered Nurse qualification, SANC registered
    • Experience and Knowledge – Experience in medical/surgical nursing (sub-acute and long-term care), dementia care, frail care and palliative care.
    • Skills and Attributes - Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, managerial skills, making sound decisions, computer literate, professional, focused, compassion for the elderly, be able to converse with people on different levels - staff, families, MDT and other professionals coming into the facility

    Specific Requirements

    • Own Transport
    • No criminal record
    • Solid and positive references

    Working Hours - Normal working days are Mondays to Fridays from 07h00 until 17h00. You will be required to be on standby one weekend per month to assist in the healthcare if needed
