Requirements: 

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Industrial (Business) Engineering and/or BCom (Business Management)
• 3-5 years’ experience in the implementation of planning resources and service policies, strategies, norms and standards as well as programmes and procedures
• Experience in solid waste resources, services planning and management (advantageous)
• A valid Code EB driver’s licence
•  Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the City of Cape Town

Key performance areas:

• Perform research and development by benchmarking standards; work measurements; partnership agreements and advising on the Integrated Development Plan
•  Evaluate, monitor, initiate and implement systems, business plans and performance management tools
• Ensure change management to enhance culture change, innovation, use of diagnostic tools and implementation
• Project management: develop, maintain, monitor and evaluate Special Projects and sampling techniques
• Facilitate partnerships by compiling and maintaining Service Level Agreements and tenders

Requirements:

• Relevant B Degree coupled with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience inclusive of experience working at a senior level
• A strong track record in investment promotion and understanding the narrative of brand consciousness
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.

• Strategic and tactical forward planning
• Implementation of investment initiatives of the branch
• Managing and interacting with stakeholders nationally, internationally, and locally.
• Overseeing Programme and project management (evaluation and monitoring) for the unit
• Understanding financial management
• Supervising staff development and management.
