Job Description
The Database developer will create and maintain database structures, make sure that data is stored efficiently, and write and test database code, including SQL (Structured Query Language) queries, procedures, and functions. Create best practice reporting structures and apply data warehousing frameworks.
As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for participating in product development, from ideation to deployment and beyond. You will work on ground-breaking product features, issues, and improvements that are critical to the success of your customers, and you will need to work with the broader company to maintain and help optimize existing systems.
You are responsible for

- 7+ years in MS SQL development.

- A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

You are responsible for
Inclusive of, but not limited to:
Assisting Consultants:
- Book & manage consultants’ diaries as per client request (When needed)
- Closing of consultant billings on CMS
- Draft recommendations for consultants
- Assistance in proofreading documents and/or drafting basic IR documents
Administration:
- Ensure that all relevant documents are correct & uploaded onto CMS
- Updating of CMS information (e.g. client information)

Reports:
- Assistance in compiling reports (both internal and external. E.g., reports for national clients, etc.)
Adhoc:

You will be responsible to:
- Provide advice to support overall compliance to OHS legal requirements (OHS Act & Regulations, COIDA, SANS, SABS etc.) and mitigate the client’s exposure to operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage.
- Implement and maintain a detailed project plan for each client.
- Conduct safety audits aligned with the industry standard(s)
- Prepare and deliver safety files that are specific to the project.
The project plan includes, but is not limited to:
- Drafting and implementing OHS Policies
- Drafting and implementing risk assessments and safe work procedures
- Conducting Incident Investigations and reporting back to management of the organisation
- Training and upskilling the client’s employees to perform inspections on a monthly basis and auditing inspections.
- Drafting and implementing emergency preparedness and response procedures
- Establishing and facilitating safety committees
- Drafting and conducting OHS inductions as per client’s requirements.
Qualifications

You are responsible for
Inclusive of, but not limited to:
- Retaining all clients as well as servicing clients in terms of all IR issues.
- Provide training to all clients as per LabourNet standards
- All clients are visited once per month
- All clients are contacted as per schedule
These typical IR issues can range from:
- Chairing of disciplinary inquires
- Drafting of judgments for clients

To more complex issues like:
