    Specialist - IoT Products.Enterprise Business Unit

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Key Result Areas:

    Key Deliverables

    • Provide assistance to clients and staff (on-site if required) with hardware installations during and after hours.

    Analyst - Financial Reporting and Controlling ICT COE

    For the relevant area of responsibility:

    • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, business reviews and ensures that financial information is accounted for accurately and provide explanations for variances (forecasts, budgets and actuals) to internal and external stakeholders.

The Specialist -ICT COE Cost & Pricing plays a critical role in ensuring successful delivery in the context of:

    Deal Pricing 

    The COE Cost & Pricing Specialist is responsible for:

    • The financial calculation of new- and/or renewal deals proposed to be submitted to current and/or potential new customers.
    • Deal shaping on new complex deals
    • Understanding the deal construct.
    • Pricing on Complex deals
    • Confirmation of the cost elements and values included in building the deal.
    • Confirming that the deal parameters and KPI’s are correctly included in the Price calculation.
    • Confirmation that the price (value) to be submitted has been correctly calculated.
    • Challenging pricing models and approaches on deals
    • Constant drive towards standardisation of pricing and solutions.
    • Understand and determine the impact that New Business as well as amendments to existing services has on the account profitability and make recommendations to all stakeholders.
    • Engagement with all stakeholders.
    • Taking the lead in negotiation from a Commercial perspective.

    Opportunity Register:

    • The Sales Department will maintain an “Opportunity Register” where all potential opportunities will be registered and the development thereof (over the lifespan of the opportunity) be managed and reported on.
    • The COE Cost & Pricing Specialist will have full access to the register and will report on a regular basis to the COE CFO on the movements (new/closed/etc.) and status of the opportunities. 

    Pricing Calculation Template and calculation review of smaller deals:

    • The COE Cost & Pricing Specialist will develop and maintain a standard Cost & Pricing Template to be used for all deals, regardless the anticipated value.
    • The incumbent will review, on an ad hoc basis, the correctness of smaller deal calculations across all OpCo’s.

    Transfer Pricing Calculation Tool:

    • The ownership of the Transfer Pricing Tool currently being developed with the support of Deloitte, will reside within the COE Finance Department and the COE Cost & Pricing Specialist will be the custodian of the tool.

    Working relationship:

    • Although independent and reporting into the COE CFO (Finance Department), the COE Cost & Pricing Specialist will work closely (and be integral to) with the COE Sales environment.
    • It is important that the COE Cost & Pricing Specialist is aware of all COE Sales Opportunities and is involved in the calculation of all major deals.
    • This relationship, and all the responsibilities mentioned, will be applicable to all OpCo’s where the COE is involved in / part of.
