    Cleaner

    Job Description    
    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for an Cleaner role, which is based in CCBSA Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report directly to the SHEQ Manager in CCBSA Bloemfontein. KEY PURPOSE To ensure the cleanliness of prescribed work areas as directed by the Supervising Officer, using the prescribed methods and frequencies in line with the requirements of the cleaning specification. The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Emptying and cleaning of waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
    • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
    • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
    • Suction cleaning carpeted areas and “spot” cleaning carpets.
    • Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
    • Using electrically powered pick up machines.
    • Working at heights may include using high level equipment.
    • To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, external surfaces of cupboards, shelves and fitments.
    • To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as directed or in line with standard operating procedures.
    • To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains.
    • Deep cleaning of ablutions.
    • Cleaning of Drains.
    • Working in the gardens which may include removal of weed, using of pesticides, cutting of lawns and pruning of trees and shrubs.
    • The use of chemical agents as directed by the Supervising Officer in the execution of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training.
    • To undertake wall washing or inside window pane cleaning at prescribed heights limits.
    • To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
    • Cleaners are to report to the supervisor or Team leader in charge, any factors that are likely to affect his/her work which they consider that the caretaker or cleaner in charge should be aware.
    • The location of cleaning areas may need to be changed to meet the needs of the establishment.
    • May be can be required to work alone or in teams.
    • Not necessarily appointed to a specific location within the establishment.

    Management Trainee Procurement

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Procurement department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Management Trainee Procurement role, which is based in Midrand. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Procurement. The successful incumbent will undergo a 12-month formal training programme to gain knowledge and experience in management, all procurement related principles and procedures and to apply these to ensure the efficient and effective completion of all delegated tasks.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Procurement activities 
    • Review spend data analytics to determine spend with designated groups. 
    • Understanding of preferential procurement in legislation in the South African context and that it is adhered to and that Procurement initiatives support it. 
    • Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFP’s) that are identified. 
    • Vet the analyses of RFPs. 
    • Support team in all Project related work. 
    • Support for monthly reporting performance 
    • Identify potential contract improvement opportunities. 
    • In line with defined CCBSA Procurement Team strategy, support the classification and categorisation of suppliers, including supplier evaluation

    • Support and research improvement of standard operating processes in procurement, to enable improvement. Stakeholder alignment 
    • Works in close collaboration with the CCBSA Procurement Team to ensure local acceptance of new contracts. 
    • Support the implementation, execution and compliance management of CCBSA Procurement Leadership Team’s decisions. 
    • Coordinate contract implementation tasks with Content Specialists and Internal Stakeholders. 
    • Develop, implement and manage Service Level Agreements between CCBSA and supplier to ensure compliance to agreed strategically sourced contracts. 
    • Closely monitor internal stakeholder contract compliance, define and take approved corrective actions to improve contract compliance in alignment with the CCBSA Procurement Team. Support key sourcing initiatives and management of selected key suppliers 
    • Support the CCSBA Procurement Team in their role in providing analysis and support to CCBSA category spend and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy. 
    • Provide information to CCBSA Procurement Team as per defined templates for requirements, analysis and market intelligence to support them.
    • Support supplier development activities for key suppliers aligned with the CCBSA Procurement team and strategy, lead cross functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost. 
    • Support the working relationship of Genpact/COS Manage internal customer relationships for local categories 
    • Manage internal customer’s feedback on procurement organisation and supplier performance. 
    • Conduct periodic surveys to measure customer feedback for continuous improvement. 
    • Manage the relationship with internal customers and suppliers. 
    • Improve and reinforce procurement’s profile and recognition within the internal customer community.

    Skills, Experience & Education    

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field with specific focus on Supply Chain/Finance/Procurement. 
    • An Honours degree in Supply Chain/Finance/Procurement would be an added advantage. 
    • Competent in Microsoft Office. 
    • South African Citizen or Permanent Residency in RSA.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Providing key administrative support in all activities that enables the growth and evolution of the IBS maturity journey in CCBA.
    • Providing key communication and engagement support in enabling talent effectiveness of the IBS.
    • Providing key change engagement specialist support in all efforts related to successful transitioning of work and resources to the Center of Scale and IBS.
    • Diagnostics and Administration – develop and administer surveys and tools to gather insights on change phases, stakeholders, sponsors, and adoption trends to inform change plans and ensure progress. Upkeep change documentation.

    • Engagement Administration: Coordinate the execution of engagement plans, ensuring pro-active scheduling, preparation of stakeholders and key speakers, events scheduling, and collaborating with PAC to leverage optimal communication platforms that will enhance adoption.
    • Maintain in country communication stakeholder relationships in collaboration with PAC, to ensure effective prioritization of in-country change communication sequencing, management of interdependencies and minimizing of narrative dilution or information overload.
    • Specialist ADKAR Monitoring: Create and manage communication-surveying systems to track adoption and proficiency of individual changes.
    • Create, man, measure and maintain initiative focused communication mailboxes, monitoring themes and resistance factors, conducting thematic analytics, converging inputs, and facilitating answers by channeling to and eliciting from appropriate stakeholders for timeous and effective resolution.
    • Maintain Q&A’s.
    • Stakeholder Map Maintenance: Accumulate, analyze, and summarize key stakeholder analytics, extract key narratives, maintain stakeholder maps as they transition through the change. Flag resistance risks.
    • Content Inventory Management: Development and maintenance of document library of change stories, change journey maps, communication content, key narratives, key project information decks, creative visualizations of change story maps.

    Business Process Lead – Management Accounting

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Process Lead: Management Accounting. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Template Build & Integration Manager.

    Applicant may reside in any of the CCBA footprint of countries: South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia & Zambia.

    • The Business Process Lead (BPL) will be responsible for representing the Management Accounting function on the programme.
    • The BPL will define business requirements, ensure that the IT solution will enable the business processes, participate in all of the key programme phases (design, build, test and deploy) and also act as key representatives of the programme back into the function, helping the function understand the changes that are coming (acting as change agents).
    • They will lead the implementation of the project for their function – including managing and reporting against the delivery against the business case.
    • Level of interaction within and outside of the company, as well as the nature and purpose of the interaction:
    • With IT (specifically the Business Systems Leader) to deliver against all requirements through the project lifecycle.
    • With the Master Data team around ownership of functional master data standards and definitions.
    • With the functional leadership team to ensure that all functional requirements are understood and represented to the project team. 
    • With the functional Capability / Excellence leads around end-to-end ownership of functional processes and ways of working.
    • With Subject Matter Experts across the function for deep functional expertise and input to requirements.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Plays an active role in the design of the business processes and information model within the template solution, ensuring that business requirements (across the different countries) are met. 
    • Coordinates a network of functional sub-process experts (from across the representative countries) that provide functional support and input to the solution design and build.
    • Co-ordinates work and deliverables across the functional expert network and ensures that experts deliver all areas of responsibilities as defined by the integrated project plan.
    • Works with other BPL’s to develop cross functional processes.
    • Supports the logic, criteria and establishment of the relevant CCBA master data standards.
    • Supports data cleanse and migration activities as required. 
    • Ensures project deliverables and stage gates are met as per agreed plan.
    • Ensures co-ordination with PMO and project plan alignment.
    • Resolves business issues that impact the ability of the project team to deliver the project goals.
    • Works with the functional Capability / Excellence Lead and other key functional stakeholders (in Group Office and the countries) to ensure appropriate levels of engagement during the design of the processes, policies, KPI’s, data standards, operating model and role definitions and their on-going development.
    • Defines business scenarios and participates in solution testing phases as required.
    • Ensures the delivered solution meets the design requirements.
    • Acts as filter between function and the solution delivery team to ensure that only valid design requests are entertained (large element of question and pushback as well as negotiation involved in this process).
    • Ensures elements of Internal Controls are measured, tested and coordinated within their function.
    • Influences and leads activity across the function (in collaboration with the functional Capability / Excellence Lead) and project team recognising that the role has no / very little line management responsibility.
    • Acts as the change agent for the function – helping prepare the business for deployment and providing support during the post go-live support period and beyond. 
    • Ensures an effective post-implementation support environment is established for the function and is the point of escalation for functional issues.
    • Provides key input to training deliverables and participates in the deployment of end-user training.
    • Works with the functional Capability / Excellence Lead to ensure that all training materials are embedded into the broader functional training programmes, including their on-going maintenance.
    • Ensures 100-day anchoring plans, KPIs and value realisation measures are reviewed and plans updated (including identification of further benefit opportunities).
    • Defines and agrees with functional leadership the business benefits and value levers which the solution template deployment enables.
    • Monitors process compliance in deployed countries and provides support to help improve deficiencies. Works with country functional leaders to develop continuous improvement plans and monitor progress towards process excellence targets.
    • Identifies opportunities for improvements in template processes through benchmarking and best practice. 
    • Works with the functional Capability / Excellence Lead to filter design changes coming from the function – understanding the implications of changes across the organisation (value vs cost) and push back / challenge as appropriate.
    • Communicates the impact of key design changes / decisions across live countries through the network of functional experts and ensures their subsequent adoption.
    • Under the remit of the functional Capability / Excellence Lead, maintains process integrity and keeps the functional process model and associated documentation up-to-date and in line with the template.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications:

    • Relevant Tertiary Degree.
    • A recognised professional qualification for their functional area is desirable.

    Experience:

    • At least 8 – 10 years of related corporate experience within the Finance functional area.
    • Working experience within ERP solutions.
    • Strong business understanding, a good communicator at senior levels and prepared to take a leadership position – i.e. say “no”.
    • Experience in successfully leading cross-functional teams in evolving and protecting a template solution through both continuous improvement and project based initiatives.
    • Good understanding of operational business process excellence for the Finance function and good understanding of operational functions.
    • Experience in process improvement techniques and demonstrable experience and understanding of a broad range of business functions and processes and their operational challenges.
    • Deep understanding of how to plan, implement and sustain business process change.
    • Experience in shaping and developing repeatable methodologies for building and maintaining functional capability development approaches and tools.
    • Ability to influence and direct teams effectively, and with the necessary attention to detail where required.
    • Excellent relationship building experience and demonstrable experience of operating across multiple countries.
