Job Description
The Ce-I continues to provide Enterprise Architect strategic planning, innovation, and good governance support services to the province.

• Ce-I follows the approach below in order to achieve its strategic goal enablement (top down), this approach should be followed by the successful bidder in delivery the services:
•  Understanding the strategic goals and the support business architecture
•  Obtaining an understanding of how our information and data assets will be leveraged.
•  Determine the application landscape and roadmap required.
•  Identify the in place and required technology components.
•  Opportunity identication (bottom up) shall be facilated through portfolio management activities such as Application Portfolio Management (APM) where Applications are analysed, categorised, classified, and managed through their lifecycle.
•  Departmental agility, resilience and enablement will be supported by having timeous and relevant information sets on which to act form basis for a wide variety of decisions making.
•  Develop a Business Information Strategy.
•  Develop information views and taxonomies.
•  Business process information alignment.
•  Create user centric information designs.
•  Guide data and information integration.
•  Design and guide information governance and standards
•  Perform ICT solutions reviews.
•  Contribute to EA framework and governance.

Requirements

• NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualifications.
•  Must have a valid (not expired) IT architecture certificate.
•  TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but would not be detrimental to the bidder, should the resource not have a TOGAF certificate.
•  Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect.
•  Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Solution Architect.

Guide and participate in EA Governance.

• TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but would not be detrimental to the bidder, should the resource not have a TOGAF certificate.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Solution Architect.

Job Description
The following deliverables will be produced by the Business Intelligence Developer in line with the approved project plans:

•  User Requirements Specification.
•  Technical Specifications.
•  Data Warehouse implementation.
•  Strategic and Operational Reports – Dashboards.
•  Gather Business Intelligence systems requirements.
•  Produce technical specifications.
•  Design, configure and maintain the data warehouse.
•  Perform data mining, analysis, and reporting (i.e. develop and maintain dashboards and strategic reports) for the dtic.
•  Implement and use ETL tools for data cleansing and verification.
•  Establish data stewardships within the branches and the dtic entities.
•  Work with the DBA to ensure a normalised and optimal database structures.

Requirements
Skill:

Microsoft

•  Cloud Platform (Azure), Microsoft 365
•  Reports (RDLC, SSRS etc.)
•  Data Management and Analytics (Power BI and SAS)

SQL

•  SQL database skills (2008/2014 or later)

Azure DevOps server

•  Version 2020 Update 1

Requirements:

•  Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology.
•  Relevant Business Intelligence certification
•  5+ years’ experience in the following:
•  Reports (RDLC, SSRS, Power BI or SAS
•  etc.), and SQL database skills (2008/2014 or later)
