    Indoor Sales Consultant- Pinetown at Rentokil Initial

    Description
    ROLE SUMMARY

    The purpose of this role is to generate increased sales volumes by ensuring all enquiries, leads and development opportunities are maximised through making appointments for field based field sales colleagues and selling over the telephone where appropriate, along with servicing a set amount of existing clientele telephonically, thereby ensuring an excellent sales experience for all existing and potential customers. (Tier 1 Customers)

    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and meet customers’ expectations
    • Make appointments for the Strategic Account Managers colleague from enquiries, leads and other sales opportunities.
    • Assist the field sales colleague to manage their time effectively by ensuring diary is maximised, up to date and accurate at all times.
    • Close and formalise deals between RI and customers with appropriate commercial arrangements
    • Develops a customer portfolio plan ensuring time is allocated across all customers in relation to their overall value to RI.
    • Ensure all sales data and relevant records are kept up to date.
    • Establishes a systematic course of action for self to ensure accomplishment of sales objectives and goals and determines priorities and allocates time and resources effectively.
    • Develops and implements tactical plans with the Strategic Account Managers in line with the company sales strategy for prospects and customers.
    • Identifies and qualifies opportunities to sell new products or services and passes these to the appropriate sales person where appropriate.
    • Uses the sales tools in line with the agreed sales process to maintain and develop pipeline and customer information.
    • To ensure that all enquiries and leads are qualified and followed up.
    • Increase conversion of sales against marketing driven campaigns and provide feedback on results.

    Requirements

    • Matric certificate or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 - 5 year Sales/ Administration experience
    • Tertiary qualification
    • Computer literate – MS Office (Word/Excel and Gmail)
    • Understanding of the sales process

    Customer Relations Consultant - Western Cape, South Africa

    Requirements

    • Enhance, extend and retain the Company’s/Division’s business through representing the company to existing clients and to achieve predetermined retention targets. Coordination and consolidation of retention feedback from role players in the business.
    • Achievement or improvement of customer retention budgets & growth rate
    • Account Manage a number of allocated customers for the region and or division
    • Regular infield customer facing visits
    • Maintain and complete records of all activities regarding the customer - creating a relevant and historic database
    • Make every effort to encourage our existing client base by infield face to face visiting to retain our services by building and maintaining professional client relationships
    • Adherence to Company and Divisional standards in terms of hours of work, minimum performance standards, reporting, completion of relevant documentation, use of company assets and policies
    • Flag losses/reductions received
    • Negotiate with customers to retain and resign contracts
    • Notify Service Planners and Regional Key Accounts Manager of all handovers, liquidations and closures immediately
    • Weekly reporting of terminations to Regional Key Accounts Manager
    • Compliance to and use of the CRC retention process flow with the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly responsibilities as confirmed therein.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Mininum of 3 years customer facing negotiation experience essential
    • Matric
    • Tertiary Qualification an advantage
    • Minimum 5 Years in field selling experience
    • Drivers licence
    • Computer literacy – MS Office, Windows, Internet tools
