    HR Practitioner - Wadeville

    Purpose of the position:

    To provide strategic and operational partnership by assessing business realities, offering solutions, and advising on people investments that deliver performance.

     

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to the following:

    • To enable the business with IR competencies through providing support and advice and ensuring that own skills remain current.

    • To engage and consult with the business to support and design its organisations and resourcing required to meet its objectives.

    • To assist the business to develop key performance measures and to monitor regular and fair performance management.

    • To facilitate the business with key talent identification and discussions and assist with the development of retention strategies.

    • To enable the business through supporting change management initiatives and to ensure business objectives are met.

    • To provide an organisational development role to the business in the areas of culture, climate and business performance.

    • To research, develop and design reward management systems that motivate staff to achieve business objectives.

    • To analyse and report monthly on all key HR scorecard measures, to ensure continuous support and improvement.

     

    The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

    • 4 years of HR generalist experience.

    • Diploma or Degree in relevant HR qualification.

    • Experience in Engaging with HOD and Line Management.

    • Experience in Organisational Design preferred.

    • Strong operational HR experience.

    • Experience within the manufacturing environment highly advantageous.

    • Experience within the Cellar, Engineering and HSE environments highly advantageous

    • Good understanding of legislative requirements

    • Knowledge of and experience working with systems (integrated) and intermediate knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.

    • Change management design and facilitation.

    • Excellent relationship building experience at all levels.

    • Highly innovative, proactive, persuasive, resilient and flexible.

    • Strong analytical/ reasoning skills with good attention to detail.

    • Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment.

    Dry Goods Intern

    Purpose of the Position
    The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are currently studying and have a prerequisite to have practical work experience before qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 01 February 2022 and terminating on 31 January 2023.

     

     Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to): 

    • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for production according to production plan 

    • Receiving and processing incoming stock 

    • Executing inventory controls and keeping high quality standards 

    • Add value in increasing departmental efficiencies and customer satisfaction 

    • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations 

    • Participate in stock counts 

    • Accurate identification, verification of records and inbound shipments. 

    • Inter plant transfer of materials 

     

    To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria: 

    • Excellent academic record– degree / diploma in Logistics

    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    • Sound communication and presentation skills;

    • Effective time management;

    Events, Media & Sponsorship Intern

    Purpose of the Position
    The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment or have a prerequisite to have practical work experience before qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12-month contract commencing February 2022 and terminating January 2023.

     

    Key Learning Areas include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Execute negotiated agreements with suppliers.

    • Manage theft, damage, losses at events ensuring minimal cost incurred.

    • Assist in Analyse media performance incl. Budgets vs. actuals, commitments, KPI’s and insights. Actions are communicated to relevant stakeholders.

    • Ensure media landscape (incl. SOV, inflation, trends) is documented, analysed and insights/actions are communicated to relevant stakeholders.

    • Overlay external media investments with internal budget allocations providing strategic insights to guide optimal media spend levels and maximise exposure.

    • Provide media insights in consumer engagement planning sessions.

    • Manage scheduled equipment allocation per event to ensure conformance with brand objectives.

    • Manage timelines for setup of all activities associated with each event and develop staff schedules.

    • Provide pre and post events analysis within 4 weeks of events.

    • Establish communication protocol and operating procedures with stakeholders to ensure policy adherence.

    • Manage and track media commitments vs agreements.

    • Ensure integration across the various media touchpoints for impactful of brand messaging.

    • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that deliver desired results.

    • Relevant communication, behaviour, and actions resulted in a high level of credibility, trust, and respect across stakeholder groups.

    • Implement new ideas and improve methods, systems, and work processes that will lead to higher quality.

     

    To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

    • Final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – degree/diploma (Events Management/Marketing)

    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

    • Sound communication and presentation skills;

    • Effective time management;

    • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.

    • Ability to work in a team

    • South African citizen;

    • Able to travel locally and have own reliable transport

    • Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12-month contract.

     

    Prospective interns must submit the following:

    • Certified academic record,

    • Certified copy of Grade 12,

    • A letter from the tertiary institution confirming that the student requires 12-month practical work experience in order to obtain his/her qualification.
