    Sales representative Gauteng

    Mission:

    Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental service and sales opportunities.
    • Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.
    • Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.
    • Work with Sales and budget forecasts.
    • Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
    •   Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.
    •   Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.
    •   Clear understanding of optimised territory management.
    •   Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.
    •   Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly
    •   Ability to work as part of a team.
    •   Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required
    •   Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their duties

    The following would be an advantage:

    • Experience in mining industry
    • Sales experience in Mining or similar technical industry
    • Compressor/ Generator experience would be a plus.
    • Extensive local travel within South Africa – frequent overnight travel

    Qualification:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical or in relevant rental experience
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling
    • Confident and a good team player
    • Passionate about Customer satisfaction
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Professional in all dealings
    • In possession of a valid and clear driver's licence

    Industrial Air Sales Representative KZN

    The Role

    • Serve as the subject matter expert on technical information for the sales of compressed air systems and accessories.
    • In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have specialised in the technical understanding of compressed air solutions OR capital equipment, the B2B sales process and dynamics, territory management and superb interpersonal skills.  At least 5 years compressed air OR capital equipment sales experience is a must! 
    •  Serve as the subject matter expert/specialist on technical information for the sales of compressed air systems using complexed formulas and calculations to determine the sizing of equipment and cost saving to our customer base. 
    •  Generate leads and develop detailed sales plans to effectively penetrate accounts and achieve sales goals
    •  Travel to current and prospective customer sites within a designated sales territory to demonstrate and explain products and services, conduct needs assessments using formulas and calculation and solicit orders
    •  Recommend compressed air system products and services to customers based on their needs, interests, costs, and other technical factors.
    •  Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and calculations to potential and existing customers
    •  Review and discuss detailed design drawings, specifications, sizing calculations, cost saving calculations or lists related to compressed air system installations.
    •  Negotiate prices and terms of equipment sales agreements.
    •  Grow market and customer share for responsible geographical area.
    •  Distributors: experience in dealing with distributors with regards to technical information, market share growth, territory coverage, closing of deals, building good relationships.
    •  Record prospecting activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
    •  Other tasks as needed or assigned

    What we expect of you?

    •  5 years external compressed air OR capital equipment sales experience and territory management.
    •  Minimum of 5 years dealing with and increasing organizational visibility within the industrial, manufacturing, food and beverage, mining, and medical industries through active networking.
    •  At least 5 years’ experience on tender document completion, technical breakdowns, specialising in calculating costs saving, sizing of equipment and offering the best solution to engineers on site. 
    •  At least 5 years of negotiating compressed air/capital equipment projects with buyers and engineers.
    •  Valid Driver's License and clear motor vehicle record
    •  Proven ability to generate leads, convert leads to sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
    •  Effective communication and presentation skills
    •  Strong interpersonal and networking skills
    •  Must have a good understanding and action plan of hunting vs farming.
    •  Must be able to execute strategy and generate action plans for responsible area

    MVI Sales Engineer - Port Elizabeth

    Your role

    •  Achieve/exceed the annual sales target allocated for Eastern and Western Cape regions.
    •  Find and develop new MVI customers.
    •  Drive strategic market development for all sales channels, to increase market share and profitability.
    •  Realize (directly or in cooperation with partners) the whole sales process necessary to obtain the order. i.e., identify the opportunity, present proposal, demonstrate value, negotiate, and close the deal.
